Let me preface this by saying: I don’t usually write restaurant reviews. I’m more of a “snap a pic of my food, post it to my story, and move on with my life” kind of person. But after my experience at Bonefish Grill Sunday night, I felt genuinely compelled to write this. Because when hospitality slaps this hard, it deserves a standing ovation — or at least a glowing Google review.
First off, the food? Phenomenal. I had the Bang Bang Shrimp (obviously), and I swear if those things were a love language, they’d be mine. Perfectly crispy, just enough heat, and paired with a drink so refreshingly dangerous it made me forget I came in with responsibilities. My entrée? The Chilean Sea Bass, which was cooked so delicately I briefly wondered if the chef moonlights as a surgeon. My fork glided through it like a hot knife through butter, and for a solid 7 minutes, I didn’t speak to anyone at the table. Not out of rudeness — just pure, focused joy.
Now, let me talk about the true MVP of the evening: Leeyah, the host.
You know how most hosts are just… there? Like, you walk in, they glance up from the tablet, mutter your name, and point to your table with the energy of a DMV worker at 4:59 p.m.? Not Leeyah. Oh no. Leeyah greeted us like we were long-lost royalty returning from battle. She made us feel like Beyoncé had just RSVP’d under our name. She was warm, funny, sharp, and somehow remembered every party’s name like she was running the VIP section of a nightclub. I don’t know if she has a photographic memory or if she’s just built different, but either way, respect.
We had a minor delay in getting seated (a big party ahead of us), but Leeyah handled it like a true professional — offering updates, cracking jokes, and even sharing a story about the time she accidentally walked into a magician’s private event and thought the floating table was part of the restaurant’s new décor. Like… who is this woman and why isn’t she hosting her own late-night show?
By the time we got to our table, we were already in such a good mood that the wait felt like part of the fun. It was the kind of vibe that turns a regular dinner into a night you talk about for days.
Bonefish Grill, if you’re reading this: Protect Leeyah at all costs. Give her a raise, a parking spot with her name on it, and maybe her own cocktail on the menu (might I suggest “The Leeyah-Licious”? Something tropical, sweet, with a hint of sass — like her).
I left Bonefish that night with a full belly, a warm heart, and a group chat blowing up about when we’re coming back. Run, don’t walk. Just hope you’re lucky enough to be greeted by the Queen of...
Read moreThe whole experience was fantastic. The food was superb. Two salad, two entrée and two appetizers. 2 beers and an order of bang bang shrimp. 100% enjoyed everything, We have not a single negative comment. Super highly recommend. I wished I had taken some pictures but was too busy eating.
New Edit 02/09/2024: After the first experience with this Restaurant, we decided to go back, and it was not the same at all, it was better....
We visited the Bonefish Grill two days ago and was pleasantly surprised at the location, atmosphere, and food. It was The Prisoner of Love 4 Course Wine Pairing Dinner. It was Fab, fab, fab fabulous. The location was easy access from Las Vegas Blvd. The atmosphere was fun, happy, and inclusive – The staff was attentive and eloquent, describing the meal and wine pairing courses and the seating was conducive to the conversation without shouting. It all felt intimate and friendly. The first course was the Artichoke Spinach Salad paired with Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc – It was delicious. The spinach was bright green, shiny, and not bruised, with goat cheese, and later, we found out it had a house-made citrus herb dressing, and we both loved it. The second course was the crab and shrimp risotto – I don’t usually eat risotto, but Wow I ate this dish up faster than they could serve the Pinot Noir it was paired with. The risotto was perfectly firm and creamy with a parmesan creme sauce. The shrimp and crab succulent. We both loved it. The third course is what I was waiting for; there is no disappointment here either. It was the Filet Del Mar paired with a super delicious red blend (Prisoner of Red) - Filet Mignon that cut perfectly and melted in your mouth, so flavorful, with mini shrimps and mini scallops on top with a creamy sauce and long perfectly cooked asparagus grilled to perfection and still with a crunch just like I like them cooked. It was perfection… The last course was the dessert, Chocolate Brownie with Strawberry champagne sauce paired with a cabernet sauvignon. It was very rich and small but significantly impacted the whole experience. As I said, the staff and the managers were attentive and engaged with the customer. This was such a pleasant experience. We will indeed, without a doubt, come back - Oh, they also had various raffles for gift cert, T-shirts, and other gifts…. And for $65 per person, We will do it over and...
Read moreThe food was really good! My husband and I were shopping in the area and decided to try this place for lunch as we had passed it many times. I'm really glad we went! It happened to be brunch, so we had more choices. We got there around 2pm on a Sunday and got a table right away. Our server was Dalton, and he was very nice and attentive! Bread with an olive oil dip came to the table, and we ate the whole thing. The herb mixture in the olive oil tasted like some sort of basil parmesan mix, and the bread was so soft and delicious. We ordered a bloody mary and the seasonal apple martini to drink. I'm not normally a martini drinker, but this was sooooo good! It tasted like apple cider, and I couldn't taste the alcohol much. I loved it! My husband said the bloody mary was good, but he did add some salt and pepper to it. For food, we ordered the imperial dip to start as well as the bacon frittata and the crab and fontina frittata. The dip was really good and a decent size. We didn't finish all of it. The bacon and cheddar frittata was nice and fluffy and basically reminded me of an omelet. The crab and fontina had a nice flavor. Not a lot of crab, but a nice, ooey, gooey amount of fontina cheese on top! Both frittatas came with bacon and breakfast potatoes. The potatoes were so crispy and had some nice seasoning, I absolutely loved them! We also got a very generous helping of bacon, couldn't even finish it. We will definitely be coming back for dinner one day. Give this...
