Overall: 4.7/5 (dine in) My husband put our name down via the Yelp reservation system for 2 on a Sunday night. We still had to wait about 5-10 minutes before being seated since it was packed. Our server was Koa who provided amazing service, had such a positive energy/happy vibe that was contagious, and just made our dining experience more enjoyable. All the workers here have a very distinct personality & style (airing on the anime side) so it was so interesting to observe and interact with them all. For the menu, there's the AYCE option or a la carte. We went with AYCE which has 3 tiers for you to choose from: A is $28.95, B is $32.95, & C is $39.95. All options include the sides, soups (limit 1/person), house specials (limit 1/person), and desserts. We went with tier A which is perfect for 2 people given that they also include the soups and house specials. Everything here was great quality and marinated/seasoned well. The meat came out really quickly on a conveyor belt that's on one side of the table but we didn't notice it until Koa pointed it out. I also don't know what kind of grill or heat setting they put it at but it was just perfect for noob grillers like us. At most KBBQ places, I end up burning the meat if I'm not watching the grill the whole way through. Here, I would get maybe burnt edges but nothing to the point that it's inedible. The house specials were also full sized too so we were so stuffed that we didn't eat another full meal until the following dinner. Worth it 100%! Black Angus Beef Briskets: Usually I see KBBQ places give the most of this meat since briskets are the most ordered but they didn't. Great for the 2 of us to try more meat. Black Angus LA Kalbi: Great marinade that actually sat in the fridge long enough for the meat to soak up the flavors. At most AYCE KBBQ places we've been to, the marinade just slides right off the meat so the meat is bland and needs to be dipped in sauce. I barely had to use my sauces here since the meat already tasted delicious by itself. Organic Kurobuta Pork Belly: This order came with one thick pork belly strip. It was okay. I think the beef here is way better. Steamed Egg: Really good. Great for eating in between the meats. Beef Spicy Soft Tofu: Flavors were on point. Soup wasn't too salty. They gave a generous amount of beef. Homemade Cold Noodle: I never had Korean cold noodle before so I didn't know what to expect or how it's even suppose to taste like. They gave a lot of noodles that ended up clumping together and it was hard to separate. They give you a side of vinegar and mustard in case you want to add it to your broth. The broth was super interesting and had that sharp acidic taste like apple cider vinegar. My husband and I thought this dish was interesting but we wouldn't get it again. Bibimbap: Get this instead of white rice! It comes with so much veggies so you can eat it with your meat. The flavors were more subtle but they give you the gochujang sauce on the side so you can control how much you want to add. Beef Stomach Tripe: We never cooked this before so maybe we overcooked it but it ended up being too chewy to eat. Pistachio Ice Cream: The amount they give is less than a scoop but we're not complaining because we were stuffed by the time we got dessert. The ice cream wasn't too sweet and had pistachio nuts in it as well! Great way to end the meal :)

Thank you, thank you ,thank you for opening a second location. Unbeknownst to me I decided to come by on opening night! The food gods were smiling on me tonight. From the moment you enter your greeted with warm friendly faces. You check in on a iPad and they will text when your table is available. I was told 20 min wait. It was less than 5 mins. We were seated and the server went over the menu with us. Our server Jiaxin was one of the best servers I've ever had. She was extremely knowledgeable about the menu, super friendly, always a smile. She is a asset to the resturant. I highly recommend request her section you will not be disappointed.

Unlike other bbq places they change your grill plate out routinely throughout your meal. BONUS. Don't be shy about ordering you can ask for half portions , I found I could try a lot more that way. Don't be shy try it all. Its soooo good. I tried most ofia the beef selections. The beef tounge was delicious I highly recommend it. I also throughly enjoyed the kalbi. Thank you Jiaxin for the recommendation!

We had the pleasure of meeting the owner Freddy. May you have many prosperous years. I look forward to becoming a regular.

I can't find fault or issues with any part of tonight's meal. The restaurant is set up with a terrific flow, the staff is out of this world. Food is beyond good. The prices are on point. I highly recommend many meals here. I'm looking forward to some dessert tonight. OMG the pineapple sorbet is epic. I could eat it by the wagon full. What a marvelous way to end a amazing dinner. The pastry is soft, velvety, not too sweet, just enough to leave you wanting more. I would pay full price for more. The serving size is a tease. A very pleasant one at that. The pistachio ice cream is lush, and creamy there is a smathering of nuts throughout, nice palate cleansing. A wonderful way to end a most enjoyable meal.

Until next time Master Kim, I'm already looking forward to our next visit.

Update we went back last Saturday and I'm sad to say the service has gone down a bit. No longer as attentive. Hard time finding server to order more proteins. We ended our meal early since we were unable to order again. I hate that this last visit was a disappointment. We overheard another table upset over our server as well. That table of 4 also cut...

I am a big fan of the first Master Kim's Korean BBQ..this second location met all expectations and then some...

MKKB2 Ambiance & Service: This place is popular af and they have a paging system that updates you when you're table is ready. The dining area is massive. The contemporary minimalist decor with dark brown and black colors makes for an attractive dining experience. The booths are spacious and have plenty of room for your grilled meats/seafood and banchan/side dishes. Our server was phenomenal! She was constantly checking on us and was always on it when changing our grills. She was always smiling and was so sweet with the yelp bff's toddler. The kitchen was lightning fast with sending the meats via the conveyor belt delivery system and the banchan side dishes appeared almost immediately upon ordering. Excellent

MKKB2 Cuisine: When you arrive at your booth, a fresh salad and 5 banchan dishes are waiting for you. Fantastic. They 3 AYCE menus and a la carte combo options as well. We were on a brisket craving so we went with the AYCE "A" option this visit Black Angus Beef Brisket: A staple at every visit, we had 3 orders to take out our brisket craving and it was lovely. Black Angus NY Steak: Limited to one order and that included the toddler. High quality and a must order. Kurobota Pork Shoulder Blade: A tasty cook for you pork lovers Lightly Salted Squid: My favorite seafood dish here. Spicy Baby Octopus: Not too spicy but very flavorful The side dishes are generous in size and on point. The Japchae noodles, steamed egg and corn cheese are my favorite.

I see myself visiting this Master Kim's location as it's closer to my side of town and there's a Total Wine across the way if there's a wait. Most importantly, the impeccable service and high quality flavorful meats are two of many reasons that make the Master Kim's Korean BBQ locations so popular. See ya...
