Mountain Berry Bakery — Restaurant in Estes Park

Vicki at Mountain Berry Bakery is amazing. My family was in Estes celebrating my mother’s 80th birthday and I called about ordering a custom cake—preferably vegan since two of our family members (not the birthday girl) are vegan. Vicki hadn’t made many (or maybe any, I’m not sure) vegan cakes before , but she made an extra effort to accommodate us and agreed to do it. At pick up, she surprised me with two cakes—the vegan one we had ordered and a smaller non-vegan cake for my mother, just in case her vegan cake wasn’t up to par. Well, let me tell you, she knocked both cakes out of the park! The non-vegans in our group taste-tested both and even thought the vegan cake to be a tad bit moister and more delicious. This place is by the Estes Park River Walk and it's a great spot to have some freshly baked goodies.

My wife and I tried their cherry hand pie and cheesecake. The hand pie was great, but the cheesecake was out of this world. I was lucky to get my hands on the last piece they had that day and I'm so glad I got there in time! It was rich, creamy, sweet but not cloying. Just perfect!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Vicki and Mountain Berry Bakery. We were visiting Estes Park from out of town and I completely forget to get cupcakes for my son's 7th birthday that day! I called Vicki and she was so kind and accommodating, telling me she could make a speciality order of cupcakes (chocolate with strawberry frosting) to be ready within 3 hours! I was amazed with the service and even more amazed at how tasty the cupcakes were....
