Frozen Smoke BBQ — Restaurant in Fairbanks

I want to say a couple things, but please read my first thing. These are the BEST chicken wings I've ever had. I'm a chicken wing snob. I used to love big daddy's wings, but things changed over the years. I eat wings everywhere, and I must say this is how wings should taste. The owner is proud to say all sauces are made in house, and it is blazing apparent. From full flavor, to burn your mouth out and crying from the pain/ pleasure. Okay, enough about the wings. But the second thing is everything is good. I don't like maccaroni bowls, but I love theirs. I'm not a huge fan of smash burgers, but I eat them all the time there. This is a nice bbq place connected to a brew company. The 4 stars is for the great burger I got there. They are remodeling so I’m not sure how much changes how they function daily. Keeping them from 5 stars is price vs food. A 20$ sandwich should come with a side. The business itself is a self serve model where you order then go get you food when called. Get your own drink at the water fountain and order a tap at the other counter if you want. There is no one waiting on you. That’s actually a fine layout but I’m not tipping here anymore than I would be at McDonald’s with their setup. Again great burger and the brisket is on point, original sauce...

Noisy and not very comfortable seating. The 1/2 lbs brisket was very greasy but tasted ok. BBQ sauce tasted like mostly catchup. I had coleslaw, but missed something like French fries to go with the brisket. Hubby had a Chipotle Smash, that came extremely sloppy and almost impossible to eat as it was falling apart. He was not impressed and said he would not come back. Service was adequate for a order and pick up counter. Food was out quickly and we were provided with a beeper which was nice as it eliminated the staff from calling out names for orders, adding to an already hectic and noisy...
