extremely rude host/server at 9am, walked in this morning and the host sees us and is annoyed and has his AirPods in. I let it slide because I understand people can have a bad day, but at 9am and already acting like that? We then politely ask for a corner booth, and he immediately goes and shakes his head no and no and no. like okay, just say no once, thereâs no need to act like we were persistent about it. Then we were walked to the back of the restaurant, and he half assed through the menus and immediately walked away, thatâs the third time he acts like this during this experience. There was another employee who was very sweet, and he apologized for how the other server was acting. I appreciated that he didnât immediately get annoyed as soon as he saw us. He explained that the corner booth was usually for a family of 7, but we..were a family of 7⌠so we just said oh okay itâs not a big deal. We no longer felt comfortable with the first server with how he was acting and were already considering leaving because of him, so we told the employee we would no longer like to be served by him if thatâs okay. But then the rude guy shows up, and we told him that weâd rather not be served by him. He says âwhatâs the problem/is there a problem?â And I tell him thereâs no need to be so rude, especially with people who literally just walked in. Then he tells us âokay well you wonât have a server then for 30 minutes, YOU CAN LEAVE.â That was the crossing point, because aside from being disrespectful the whole time you decide to say that? Alr. I think afterwards he got scolded or something because he came back with such a peppy and âhappy attitudeâ, and apologizes his âactions made us feel that way.â How else would you feel if someone tells you to leave for explaining that his approach is rude? I told him I heard what he said for us to leave and he proceeded to dodge it saying âIâm sorry you feel that way.â Iâd understand if heâs having a terrible day, but taking it out on a family who just walked in is absolutely DISGUSTING and ridiculous. My family hasnât gone out to eat for almost a year, and rarely have the chance to even see each other because of how much work everyone has, and now the first time we do, this happens. I hope that employee finds a different career, because how are you going to work in a customer service position, and one that requires constant interaction, and acting like that đ, and if you see this sir you need to fix that little attitude and not straight up LIE to an entire family who heard exactly what you mumbled under ur little breath and hope no one acts like that to you. Tell your manager exactly what you told us âyou can leaveâ âI have the camerasâ as if weâre stealing or committing a crime for eating. I wouldnât be surprised if he threw the food or drinks on us. maybe it could also be a racism thing considering weâre Hispanic.
Edit: I remember he also told us that he couldâve waited 30 minutes to seat us but he was being âniceâ by immediately sitting us. keep in mind there was no one waiting in line, and there were probably like 3 other people inside of the restaurant eating. How thoughtful, I didnât order or even ask to be seated immediately, the host decided that. My family and I wouldâve been fine waiting long, but he sucks at communicating apparently because heâd rather have his AirPods on then pay attention. She had a terrible attitude, extremely rude , terrible personality, dramatic, my experience with her was embarrassing, with the other customers around Why would you hire a person like that for customer service as a waitress for your restaurant? It just sets up the restaurant for failure when you can be delivering at 100%+max, with excellent service, $$$ for the restaurant
She had problems listening when I was trying to order, arguing with me instead of delivering quality customer service for a simple question regarding a simple order , I mean, how do I need to explain to her my question about the specific order I was inquiring about, I donât think I couldâve been more clear, I wanted to order a steak add pancakes and an omelette thatâs all,
Obviously doesnât know how to take an order, answer my question in regards and can clearly not deliver in a respectful , Pleasant Way , because thatâs just Not The The Type Of Person She Is!!!
So if you care about your restaurant, you will know that the customers coming in , depends on the type of service you deliver, nobody likes to walk into a restaurant and have the waitress ruin your day!!!

   Read moreWell... We come here every year for our family tradition of wild waves Christmas lights. This year we showed up with 11 people and our 11 month old around 930pm on 12/18/2015..... We USUALLY love our family together time... First I'll say. Food was good as usual... Place was clean, nice, timely service... Now.. About our waitress, who we thought was good at being a waitress KATIE... On top of the fact that she never came to check on us and we had to always get her attention when something was needed, even though there was only maybe 4 people other than us there, and about 2 other waiters/waitresses, one of our group had to take a bathroom break, and happened to be in the bathroom when this great little number decided to go in there with another worker and decided to talk trash about our entire group about how we "didn't tip to her expectations". We don't make much money, we do this once a year, we tip as much as we can from our hard earned money. Sorry it wasn't up to her high standards... It's a dennys.... Not some upscale high end establishment... Thanks to this waitress, this is now 11 people that will no longer be coming to this location ever again, that's 11 people that are as well making sure we tell all of our friends and family about this, And making sure this review is posted ever where possible. Thanks for being a trashy person and talking trash about customers... Maybe next time check your surroundings..
