Employees told me to leave because I had a small dog with me and so I asked if I could just pay for my ice cream and go, I wasn't planning on eating in, but they still said no. So my boyfriend that was with me ordered for us, he ordered the two scoop cone and they served very small scoops of the ice cream after we paid $7.50 for it. Also, if they didn't allow dogs, they should have said something the moment we walked in not when we were ready to order. It didn't seem to be a problem the last time I came in with friends. Why wasn't this an issue the last time I was there with my friends? I then had my small dog with me and ate inside and they didn't say a thing. They also served a good amount of ice cream the last time. Very disappointed and sad with their services after we walked straight from home to this place to have some ice cream and have a peaceful time for us to be discriminated against. Those two employees working there were very rude. Their ice creams are pretty good, but the way they handled themselves was distasteful and it just takes away from wanting to go there and give them my business. Absolutely adore this place! So many different flavors of ice cream to choose from, it was so hard to decide! And not just your basic flavors either! Some I’ve never even heard of and others, like Superman, you can’t even get anywhere else other than the state of MI! But coffee and ice cream together is definitely not something that’s available just anywhere! I ended up going with a Mocha coconut iced latte. It totally hit the spot in the heat of the moment lol. I loved the REAL shavings of coconut in my creamy, premium ice cream! The texture was perfect with the HOMEMADE whipped cream! You can definitely feel the love in this place. As the wife of a gourmet chef, my palate is pretty distinguished and it’s not easy to please my taste buds.
