Pizza was very good according to my clients that I took there for dinner. All of the staff provided great service! However, the guy with dirty blonde like colored hair (can’t remember hair color exactly) had his hand in the cheese tossing it around while he was checking customers out at the register. This was the most disgusting thing I’ve ever witnessed. Just unsanitary and could potentially cause sickness since he didn’t was his hands prior to checking the customer out. I watched play around in the cheese a few times when checking the customers out.

The only reason my clients did eat the pizza was it was in the oven with temperatures of at least 500 degrees so it would have killed anything lurking. It’s just disgusting to play with the food that people have to eat. I’ll never take my clients back there until they do some more training for their employees. Everyone is not clean at home, so remember, they bring those dirty, nasty habits with them to work unless extensive training is provided. It’s unfortunate you have to teach people how to clean, but it’s an absolute necessity to keep the public safe.

As for the restaurant, it can stand some updating. It’s a little dingy and you can tell it’s been around for decades, but no...

You get the Actual New York experience here. Good pizza but bad attitude. Don't expect friendship here. I am a truck driver and walked in trying to get away from truck stop food and was greeted by a fat ugly Italian dude, looked almost like myself. He looks at me and said "what do ya want?" Well pizza I recon. Whats good here? The man of the young family in the corner talks out. "Everything is good here". Ok. I think I'll stick with a large cheese pizza. I sit down. 10 minutes later, "yo heres your pizza". $12. Looks the size of a 22" rim. You know those big wheels on those gangster Cadillacs. The pizza was big. I poured cheese, pepper, garlic and oregano all over it and grabbed a uber cab back to my truck. Well gosh darn, that pizza was the best cheese pizza I've ever had and I'm a full blown Italian. I've eaten lots of pizza. Don't bother with all the fancy crap. Just get the large cheese. It's AMAZING! I would have taken a picture but It's already half gone so I don't want to show you a picture of a cold half eaten pizza....

As a northern new jersey native who transplanted to central Florida, obtaining authentic pizza is near to impossible. Some places come close but today, today we found the real deal. Mannino's pizza transported us back home and also introduced our daughter to what REAL pizza is supposed to look like, smell like and most importantly taste like! He and I checked the undercarriage of our slices and knew immediately that we were in for a treat. The color, texture and sound was perfection! We are going to return for a traditional pepperoni pie next time, today we chose a white pizza which is our favorite. We drove over an hour for this experience and we will do it again! Mr. Mannino, sir, you are our hero, thank you for giving us something we have searched 25 years for! Thank you so much!

Do not try mannino's pizza. It's awful. My calzone was a bunch of burn bread with a pocket of ricotta dead center. Tried to spread out around, it wasn't cooked all the way. The garlic knots are the size of a quarter. So small they can't even tie them in a knot. But the best part!!! When I was there watching them make my food I asked if they guy could put on a glove because he had just handled money and not washed his hands. I was yelled at that they don't need to wear gloves because everything goes on a 400 degree oven. Being a chef I happened to have a thermometer on me. I checked the knots. 125 degrees. That's going to kill somebody. They need to be shut down.

First time there. Went there because Giovanni pizzia didn't have inside seating. With 95% weather with a migraine and being a heart patient I made the personal decision to go somewhere else. This pizzia is less than 2 minutes away. It's a like a small hole in the wall. But literally the best pizza I have had. Everything is fresh. Also, order the garlic knots and you can taste the freshness. The service is between two people and they rock. They get what you need. Pizza and garlic knots wize they blow Giovanni out if the park. Definitely will go again if I'm by Posner Park again.
