HORRIBLE SERVICE!! I went here on 7/10/24 around 3-3:30pm with my mom and my 2 kids (ages 8 & 3), and we were the only ones there when we first came in... and like anyone would do in a ice cream place, we began looking at the different ice cream flavors they had..

There were two female employees, 1 younger lady (looked to be in her 20's) at the register and 1 older lady (looked to be in her 50's or 60's, blonde hair, major RBF) taking/filling orders...the older one who was taking orders was SO RUDE! we were never greeted, and instead she (older one) acted irritated that we were there, and then because my kids didn't immediately know what they wanted, she got visibly annoyed.. it was about that time (maybe 3 or 4 mins being there) that 3 other people came in together and I was trying to get my kids to decide on what they wanted, and the lady just kept glaring at me and then says to the people behind me "Sorry, I'll be right with you" (in a very agitated tone), when they had literally only been there maybe 30 seconds. My mom and I were shocked by how incredibly rude she was. I almost just left and went somewhere else cuz there's definitely many other options in that area. The younger girl at the register was nice but quiet...and just not friendly enough to override the rudeness from the other lady.

Ice cream was decent, but nothing to write home about. Next time I will definitely choose a different place that has...

We popped in to try a new ice place on St. George street. When we came in no one was at the counter and we were the only customers in the shop. The back door was opened so we talking that maybe the employees were out back. After a few minutes a girl pops her head around the corner and rudely says ā€œI’m making a drink!ā€. In my opinion a simple I’ll be right with you when you walk in is helpful so that the customer waiting knows that you are aware they are there and that you are busy (even if there isn’t anyone else in the shop). When she finishes she comes over and has a bit of an attitude as if we are of some bother to her to take an order. The person I was with attempted to order a milkshake and then the girl said she couldn’t make it. I didn’t stick around to hear why bc there’s plenty of other sweet treats on St. George street to order from without being treated so poorly .Based off the reviews this may be a one off situation but I’ll never go back. I’ll stick with the polite always delicious gelato shop at Cafe...

My family stopped in one night, it was late granted, but the doors were open and lights on. My daughter and I received our ice cream while my boyfriend asked about an expresso. The young lady was politely answering when the older lady who grudgingly served my daughter and me abruptly said ā€œWe don’t have any expresso, the machine is brokenā€. After this rude interjection we in turn grudgingly paid for the ice cream already received, other wise we would have left without a purchase. We were not the only family in the shop at this time and it was appearant that she had already cleaned the machine. Having worked in food service for 20 years, I can appreciate the annoyance of late customers, but professionally speaking, late customers should receive the same service as any other patron. We found many of the local shop owners/employees in St. Augustine to be very unfriendly in this manner regardless of the...

EDIT!!!! This owner stepped up to me being overcharged and refunded me a credit. That is very good customer The ice cream was very creamy and yummy. They offered samples if you wanted. The star rating was for the inconsistent price. I had one scoop in a cup and my husband had 2, the price was $5 more than the menu price, when I glanced up puzzled, the girl said the prices changed a few weeks ago, she said she’s mentioned it a few times since the menu doesn’t reflect that but she only works here so $21.50!!!! I messaged you on Facebook messenger because I couldn’t figure out how to respond to you. So my Apple wallet shows my receipt for Saturday night at 9:30 for $20.77. She was a small young, white girl. Single scoop $6.50 in a cup and $9.95 for a double. Thank you for your concern

On our drive home from Fort Lauderdale to Boston, we stopped in the charming historic town of St. Augustine, FL. Even on a December morning, the town was bustling with tourists, and its historic charm left us deeply impressed. While exploring, we visited Tedi’s Olde Tyme Ice Cream Shop, hoping to grab a coffee and a treat for our husky, Max. To our delight, not only is this shop pet-friendly, but the owner even offered Max a free doggie ice cream! We were pleasantly surprised since we usually pay $6–8 for a Ben & Jerry’s dog ice cream. Max was thrilled with his special treat, and we thoroughly enjoyed our lattes. It was such a heartwarming experience that we highly recommend Tedi’s Olde Tyme Ice Cream Shop to anyone visiting St. Augustine!

Cute little ice cream shop. I've been here many times, and the ice cream is always great, but this last trip, I didn't get any. They had a sign outside for lavender lemonade, which I love, so I stopped by. Unfortunately, there was barely any lavender flavor in it. It just tasted like regular lemonade with just the slightest hint of lavender. The lemonade gets 2 stars, but I'm giving 4 stars because this is a great little place, and you should definitely stop by, just not for the lavender lemonade. Sometimes, the line for this place is out the door, so it really is a hit.
