Stopped here for a quick breakfast bite. Sandwiches, croquetas, and café were really good. Cuban toast caught us off guard. My only recommendation to the owner would be to make the side of Cuban Toast how it’s traditionally made: Cut it down the middle (like you would a sandwich), butter inside, then press it versus only buttering the outside and press it without cutting down the middle. Being from Tampa, Miami, and Cuba we know that it’s traditionally done this way. The staff was nice and friendly and remade it for us, but it still didn’t quite come out the same, instead pressed into a cracker-like form.

Tasty little hole in the wall right off of St George St. The staff was really friendly, and struck up a conversation with me. They recommended the Yuca Rellena, which I’ve never had before, and I’m Cuban. It was so good, I wish I had room for another one, but I was too full after having a delicious Cuban sandwich and a couple of guava pastries. I’m glad I found this great little spot off the main strip, with great food. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for some tasty Cuban treats.

We stopped in here after finding out the bagel place was closed and we are glad we did! My girl and I love Cuban sandwiches and pastries and the stuff here was amazing. We got two sandwiches, some guava and cheese, and a Cuban coffee. Everything here was delicious. The pastries were hot and sweet, and the coffee was too. The sandwiches were solid and I highly recommend them. Overall, a delicious St. Augustine location.

Food was not good- not authentic at all and the pastries were not fresh .. customer service was bad... gave me the wrong order and instead of them exchanging it.. the guy got defensive and did'nt even want to exchange it even though it was almost the same price... a $3.00 item... his attitude was real unprofessional. Place was totally dead in the middle of the day... I wonder if their customer service has something to do with it. And place was full of pictures of Cuban witchcraft warlocks ( kind of weird) will NOT recomend this place at all .....

Edited to answer to the owner's message... Maybe I was heard wrong but I even went to the area of the pastries and I signaled exactly what I wanted.. and of course after the ugly unprofessional attitude that it was taken when I said it was'nt what I had order ..I said it was fine ..I was NOT going to argue or be as rude as the server .. but I work in retail and we were taught client is always right .. you try to keep your clients happy because word of mouth and referrals will be your number one marketing tool.. you want your business to thrive one of the most important things is the customer service that is offered.. and referring about the witchcraft warlocks photos it was just my personal opinion ... because one things is art and the other one is having the pictures of all the biggest witchcraft lords in Cuba ... sorry just...

This is a little gem of St. Augustine! Just steps off of St George Street it still feels like a hidden oasis in the ancient city. Besides going to Cuba, you cannot get a more authentic Cuban meal. The food is presented simply and deliciously. More often than not there will be a waiting line, but this just goes to show how good a choice you have made by being there! They have a quaint shade covered courtyard with tables as well as indoor seating. It is a small restaurant so depending on how busy they are seating can be a challenge. They have THE BEST Cuban coffee in the Ancient City and I highly suggest their Guava Cheese Pastry and the Churro's! Both are made fresh on-site. You will not be disappointed with a visit to...

Overrated!! Taste of the actual food is above average, but the service is below par. There were 3 customers in front of me and it took about 10 minutes to take my order. The ones in front of me ordered empanadas, and things that were already made, but it still took too long, lady was super slow and did not seem to care there was a big line forming. The lady and the man in there were not enough to Se vice the few customers in there. I understand this is not necessarily a fast food restaurant, but at least take the orders faster and maybe the wait would feel less. Prices are OK I guess. Empanadas 3.50, croquetas 1.00, cubano sándwich 6.95 and so on. Just because of wait time to place an order, I will...
