We were really looking forward to visiting this bar, and in many ways, it didn’t disappoint. The atmosphere was fantastic, the live music was excellent, and the drink and food options were solid. Unfortunately, our experience was completely ruined by one employee whose behavior was shockingly unprofessional. We had some feedback regarding the service when trying to order more drinks, and instead of handling it with professionalism, this employee became condescending and outright combative. It reached a point where we felt uncomfortable and ultimately decided to leave. What made it even worse was learning from locals that this behavior isn’t an isolated incident—apparently, this individual regularly drinks on shift and has a reputation for embarrassing customers he doesn’t get along with. It’s truly unfortunate because this bar has so much potential. However, as a paying customer who chose to spend part of our vacation here, it was incredibly disappointing to be treated this way. If the ownership wants to protect their reputation and retain business, they need to seriously reconsider keeping an employee who is actively driving people away. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because no one should have to experience what we did.

My husband and I stopped off at Lincoln Street Wine Bar to have an after dinner glass of wine. That turned into several and ended up closing the place down. Very casual and unpretentious given their VAST selection of wines. The people were great at asking questions to hone in our wine preferences. We had (many glasses of) Pinot Noir from Willamette Valley and Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand. We sat outside since the weather was gorgeous. Excellent choice as we were entertained by the band, Hillfire (sp?). Matthew James Butler played guitar, harmonica and sang vocals and was accompanied by a sax player. Sorry didn't remember his name. How cool is that?!? Drinking delicious wine on the patio of an intimate wine bar and charmed by a sax player. Ah, the good life! Thank you!!!

Came here for the first time with a large group of friends in April and have returned twice since then. Love it. Unique. Funky. Special. The staff are welcoming, funny, and very helpful. The food selection is limited, focused, but spot on. The star here (for us) is the eclectic wine menu. They offer a HUGH array of wines you'll not find elsewhere. Want a cheap $20 bottle? They have it. Looking for a hard-to-find, highly rated, OMG how-the-hell-did-they-find-it wine at a reasonable price. Ask! They'll have something. Atmosphere is casual. Very laid back. Sit inside or out. It doesn't matter. Just a great place to kick back and enjoy great food and excellent wine. This instantly became our new haunt. Will continue returning for years to come!

Disclaimer: this review is not for the actual Lincoln St. Wine Market but for the people who work there.

I have recently visited this town for the history, food, wine and more wine. My memory of Lincoln St. is hazy AF because of “more wine” I honestly can’t even remember the picture I took when I checked in on Yelp . Somehow, later in the evening I lost/ dropped my wallet with my whole life and existence in it. Since I remember trying to pay for the wine we ordered, I know for a fact that I still have it there and it was our last stop. The next morning, we called and told them what was going on and said nothing has been found. Not satisfied with the answer, we went back and my friend told me where we were seating and the nice people of the wine market let us look for it in the area where we’re at. We didn’t find it to my dismay. I went back home to DFW blaming my self for having too much fun. :(

Somehow, a little 2 weeks later I got a message from Facebook and asking if I was there recently and my wallet was turned in to one of the bartenders who worked at Lincoln St. Wine Market. She looked for me and defiant to get my wallet back to me. I literally cried when I received that message. I have cancelled all my cards but there’s a couple of cards there that is very important to me. Kudos! to this her and the whole staff and owner of this place. She told me it was turned in to her by a bartender from another place who found it. We were guessing that when I hopped in on our Lyft that my purse is not fully closed and the wallet somehow fell off. Either way, I have my wallet back and planning my Erwin to this great town and have a manageable amount of wine. :p For sure, next time I visit I’d be more careful and visit this place to appreciate this wine market. They have a wide variety of wines for different palates. It’s...

We were in for a girls weekend and ended up here. The first night was awesome, really enjoyed ourselves so the second night we decided to go back. We came in after the wine tours ready to enjoy our last night. We had the same server who recognized us and again was awesome. Then while we were talking and laughing with him a blonde female server came in and basically shushed us like we are children and not adults at a bar (mind you not screaming just laughing, having a good time). We went outside, music great and truly enjoyed ourselves. Then blonde waitress (wish I got her name) came out to get glasses. Making a joke we shushed each other to be quiet. Instead of taking a joke or ignoring us, she threw a tantrum about how she said that when we were inside and she could kick us out... whatever... you are in the service industry and we were fine. I hate people acting like idiots and not what we were doing at all. I felt bad for the male server who was great and having to play middle man, not his fault at all. I would go back if she isn't there but when you work in a bar in a tourist town you should be able to handle people having a good time.... My suggestion is if you are trying to enjoy yourself and you see a blonde server with a hateful look on her face with zero customer, do yourself a favor and move on. Otherwise, ...
