The Saloon — Restaurant in Fredericksburg

We came the night before, EXCELLENT SERIVCE with a different bartender. So we wanted to drop by again on July 19th @ 4pm. This bartender was horrible. Bad attitude. Terrible Customer service. The couple before us (that was visiting from Wisconsin) told us” good luck” they aren’t very friendly. We apologized & said “ Texas people are not like them) They saw us & ignored us. Yes, we know it’s a bar but you don’t have to treat people like you work at a trashy bar…. Very unprofessional. Her & her partner. THIS IS TEXAS! We don’t treat people this way!

The Big Easy Saloon is my favorite bar. I am a regular customer from the opening. I have seen the bar slow, the bar full, live entertainment, DJ entertainment and special events. I love the atmosphere, the food, the service and the staff. I have seen several bartenders come and go, some are like family, some are not. I feel comfortable and safe coming to the Big Easy alone or with friends. Crystal will have someone walk me out when I leave. I do miss the live entertainment. I enjoyed hearing the local artists. Came in. We were acknowledged. Waited patiently for the bartender to finish making 3 craft cocktails. It took at least 5 minutes.

Another group threw cash on the bar for their drinks and left. Seemed like they had been waiting to cash out. At this point there were less than 10 people in the entire place, including the two of us and the bartender.
