Hummus Republic — Restaurant in Fresno

(This is a lengthy review but It's an Honest one)

In My Personal Opinion, This Restaurant Is By Far The Best Dining Experience that I've ever had the Honor to Experience!! From their Pridefully constructed Dishes to their Welcoming demeanor the moment  you walk in the door!! Their food is Beyond Delicious, I am crazy for their Chicken Shawarma wraps(burrito,lol) My 72yr old Mother was recently undergoing Chemo & The Only thing She craved & could keep down was one of their Bowls, She favored their Morroccan Steak bowl with eggplant Hummus & The Zatzeekee(spelling) sauce & wash it down with her All Time Favorite Drink , Her "Jalapeño Cucumber Lemonade"!! Now, Mind You, This is a 72yr old lady undergoing Chemo, The Servings were so generous that the 1 bowl would have enough food to last her Dinner tonight & Lunch Tomorrow!! I am So Eternally Gratefull for this restaurant and Mostly the Owners as They , on more than 1 occasion let me vent to them with me taking care of my mom & being a single father w/custody of 3 daughters, I'm sure they didn't want to hear it, nut they never complained but rather gave me tons of emotional support that was really genuine & there was just something about the warm compassionate & endearing service that was Genuine!! And The Reassuring hand shake that Steve would give & His Lovely wife  telling My Young Daughters that "Don't Worry, Hunny, Your Grandna's Going to be OK, I Promise You!!" And Seeing the tears well up in my 9yr Olds eyes & in that tiny moment of time in her young life "The Pretty Lady told Me My Gma was going to be OK, And Look Poppa Gma is OK!! The Pretty lady Did it!!" So, If Your Looking for a Place to Leach off their WIFI because your Obama Phone doesn't have data or If  Your the Type of Person that gets upset because they(just like You) Honor our Fallen Military Vets and now Your inconvienced because You can't get You your 3 personal Shawarma's to eat by yourself in the car, Then This probably isn't the place for You!! But, if Your looking for a Place That treats You with Respect & Compassion and the only thing better than their Customer Relations is their food, Then this is the place for You!! And Once My Mom is back to 100% , The 1st place She wants to go is Hummus Republic, have a Seat in "Her Spot!!" Delicious, filling, healthy food at a great price. It's similar to Chipotle, but with Mediterranean food and more options. My bowl was $10.95.

The hummus is amazing, especially olive. I love that I could mix & match protein options. I got a mix of the vegan beef and mushroom shawarma. Both options were very tasty. Mixing proteins is great for someone trying to eat a more plant based diet since you can mix the meat options with the veg options. The food is very filling. My bowl had three scoops of hummus plus the vegan beef, giving me roughly 40g of protein. I was also able to get a lot of veg including my favorite, beets. The tabbouleh was really good too. The lemonade options are awesome too. I loved the turmeric ginger lemonade. The combo of high protein, beets and turmeric means this is going to be my favorite lunch on days I'm working out.

Aside from the food, I really enjoyed eating here. The staff is extremely friendly, going above and beyond to be helpful and kind. The facility is very clean with a nice aesthetic. There's both indoor and outdoor seating, plus to go options. The bathroom looks large enough to accommodate a wheelchair.

I will definitely be coming here again & will recommend to friends. It's so nice to be able to find a healthy, tasty option for such...

I went there today to pick up my order and when I asked them how much time it would take to prepare my order, they said, 5 minutes or else you can leave from here. Without taking the order, I said that I have already been here for 10 minutes. I am waiting so I will not leave. Without taking the order, they said, you should leave our business right now. He tried to scare me by saying that I am calling the cops. I also said, should I wait for my order or should I wait for the police to come?

Absolutely rubbish and misbehaved staff I saw there today. I have rarely seen such staff in Fresno yet.

You just said that as a doordasher it is not inappropriate. Does that mean the doordasher is not a human. Doesn't he run his own business like you are running your business. The doordasher is his own business. Than may be you have to stop work...
