Today I was not pleased with the service at King Kong milk tea in McDonough. My husband goes to pick up our usual mine is the pecan shrimp and avocado smoothie with aloe vera and black Boba. It is very apparent that the size of the shrimp has changed which is disheartening because the smaller the shrimp after being fried the harder they get! Not only that but The shrimp had a fecal matter-ish taste. They were hard small and nasty. When it comes to my avocado smoothie when I get it I expect it to be completely green no brown speckles no nothing. At least thatâs how itâs looked every time Iâve gotten one. Today my smoothie had hard brown speckles in it and soft brown speckles. It looks like an entire unripened avocado was blended including the seed. Big chunks of ice and everything. I tried to call and talk to the manager to just have this sorted out the easy way but she wasnât available and the person that answered the phone laughed at my request so here I am. Complaining because I am not happy. King Kong is my happy place and today they did not do that! My husband says that they had new people up there making the food and smoothies. I donât advise you have new employees making The product but the new employees can run cash registers and they can clean. No need to have anyone sacrifice in the integrity of my meal. I am not pleased with my service today or my service the last time as the attitudes in that room from the employees was atrocious. I pre-ordered my food no one called me to tell me that my food was finished. Why ask for my number if youâre not going to call? By the time I got my food it was cold. AnyWho king Kong honestly has one more time out of me before I am completely done with king Kong milk tea McDonough. We want to bring our family to this place and bring our friends and now weâre not even sure if King Kong will live up to what theyâve showed us in the past because the last few visits have not been great! Signed passionate and proud King...
Read moreHonestly, the worssssst. The drinks I ordered first were Earl Grey milk tea with Lychee jelly- this shit was just milk water. They didnât steep that tea long enough for it to taste like anything. & if I order my drink with no ice- doe NOT mean to add more water to my drink. It means to add more TEA?! The second drink was Thai tea milk tea, lychee jelly with no ice. They added EXTRA syrup which made it unbearable to drink. If I drank more than a few sips youâd get worms.
Since the earl grey sucked so bad- i decided mmm maybe if I chose something like taro itâd be easier and better? NOPE. Bc I said NO ice, the manager just said to add MORE WATER to my drink. That logic doesnât make any sense to me. Before I walked away I drank it and said nah, I already spent $20+ on yâall WITH A TIP- yâall need to fix it by adding more powder or remake it all together. They remade it and one of them sipped on the excess from the one they made before the remake and said âitâs fine Iâd drink itââŚ. Excuse meee- if you spent money on these drinks and I tell you the earl grey didnât taste like anything and Iâm telling you this taro doesnât taste like my usual drink then youuuud be hella upset that you spent money on that drink. Anyways they remade it- i sipped it before I left and it tasted just as bad. Watching them make it was just a let down, I let myself down bc I gave them the benefit of the doubt⌠these gen z kids need a lesson in the real world. Spending too much time talking about anything but what the instructions on how to make the drinks correctly bc youâre AT YOUR JOBâŚ.
I got a video of the drinks being thrown away. Shortly after bc it was a...
Read moreBecause I love milk/boba teas, I wanted to love this place. This was my first time visiting and my last When my daughter am and I walked in we were excited, but that was quickly taken away by my guess would be the manager sitting at the table by the window on his laptop and phone. The look of disgust he gave us, made me want to turn around and walk out. But, since there was no one else in the place and my daughter wanted a milk tea we ordered. Both cashiers were at a back table, but quickly went to the counter once we got there to look at the menu. There was no greeting just a dry "what can I get you"! I ordered and my daughter ordered what we saw on the menu. But once we sat down to wait for our teas, there were so many more options to choose from that we didn't see and no one bothered to tell us about. We paid and left, on the way out the manager looked at us with disgust again. This "manager" could have been a regular customer still sitting there on his laptop and phone. Either way, with the looks and service alone that was our first and last visit. However the teas...
