First of all, this place is all about location! C. Ellet's is located in the Battery steps away from the home of the Atlanta Braves. If location is what you want then this is a great spot. On the other hand, if you are going to C. Ellet's for good food and good drinks then this isn't the spot! The food was not up to par. We ordered fried oysters for the appetizer and received fried shrimp instead. No worries. Our waitress fixed the issue and we got to keep the shrimp. Well, C. Ellet's could have kept both of them. The batter was extremely salty. Someone's hand was heavy on the salt. We also ordered cocktails with our meal and they were the worst. The Nightingale needs to be reworked because it tastes like mom's home-made cough remedy. I also had a Long Island which is one of the simplest drinks to make. Well, my Long Island was more like seltzer water with a little coloring. Unacceptable for a high end establishment. The night progressed with steaks (Delmonico & NY Strip) as well as mac & cheese with green beans. The steak was bland and lacked any flavor whatsoever. Some of the salt from the batter should have been used on the steaks. The mac & cheese was tasty but more like soup, cheese and macaroni. That's how watery/buttery the concoction was. For a date night, all we enjoyed was each other's company and the atmosphere. The decor is classy in most of the location and a little tacky here and there. The bathroom wall paper with such beautiful tile below is tacky. A photo of a baseball player at each booth is tacky. We know that we are near the Braves Stadium so we don't need pictures of them in the booth. Also bottles of wine spread across the top of the booth ledge is once again "Tacky"! The atmosphere on a Saturday is awesome but the food and drinks need to be worked on. Before I end this we had a great hostess that glowed with great energy! Ashley you are awesome! Keep the great vibrations with you at all times!

At a place like this, I would expect nothing less than perfection. And I got it. The bread was freshly baked. Plating was immaculate. The steak tartare ws an excellent rendition of a classic. The bone marrow was a nice accompaniment. The beef rib appetizer was as good as any traditional smokehouse. The steaks were as you would expect AMAZING. I had the delmonico ribeye, flank steak, and pork porterhouse. The standout by far was the flank steak. "Jennay" our server practically gushed over this cut and I'm glad I ordered it. The steaks were well charred, cooked exactly as ordered, and beautifully sliced. But the best thing of all were the sides. At a traditional steakhouse you've got 15 kinds of potato options and then maybe 1-2 vegetables that are just sauteed in garlic. But the sides here were a beautiful display of what is seasonally available at a farmer's market. Tons of vegetables treated with respect. Honestly I'm more excited to try more sides than I am to try more steak. Finished off with two desserts. Hard to say much about them because I can barely remember them. Not to say that they were forgettable desserts (because they were executed well) but I was in such a deep state of the "meat sweats" that it was hard to breathe.

Great location, amazing vibe, beautiful scenery in the restaurant—we are here November 16, 2022 and I’ve been looking forward to leaving this review. All of the staff are extremely polite and well mannered. Our server was Maddie and she took great care of us. Bartenders Korena and Noah prepared a variety of drinks for our table and the manager Mike made us feel welcomed our entire time at the restaurant. When it comes to enjoying your meal, it’s all about knowing what you want. I know that I like my steaks over an open flame grill, so I made sure to inquire with our server Maddie to find out which cooking methods are offered at this location. I decided to go with the H&F Double Cheese Burger. It was amazing and made with perfection. This is all based on me knowing exactly what I would enjoy for this particular evening, it’s okay to order a burger at a steakhouse if you know that you don’t prefer steak that evening. Love the way Noah and Korena serves the beer—it is poured from a can and the remainder is given to you to continue drinking at your leisure. We were here to celebrate a birthday and they were very patient and accommodating although our reservation was at 7PM and our host didn’t arrive til 9PM.

I have been excited to try C Ellet’s for some time now and the opportunity came when my friend wanted to celebrate her birthday there. Unfortunately, our experience fell flat and I hope this review will help management with training and consistency.

Service: this was the biggest problem of the evening. Our server was sporadic and, quite frankly, awkward. When we arrived, we asked our server if we could put our coats in the booth next to us if it was closed for social distancing. He was more interested in flirting with one of the members of our group than answering our question and proceeded to dance around in his response to where we never got a straight answer. So, one of us hung their coat over the booth, another kept her jacket on, another sat on hers, and I shoved mine into the corner of the booth. Next, we inquired about getting fries as an appetizer. Again, our server danced around the question for some reason, flirted more with one member of our group again and then walked away, leaving us confused as to if we were even going to get the appetizer or not. We did end up receiving it, but not until we asked/reminded him if he had put it in. The service for the rest of the meal was spotty, with our server not coming by after the meal was delivered to see how things were, disappearing for long stretches, and not bringing things that we asked for until reminded. I must say, though, other servers seemed to be attentive to their tables and another server did stop at our table and give us an appetizer, on the house, that was a mistake from the kitchen.

Food: it was just okay, for the most part, with a big winner. We started out with rolls ($2 each) and drinks. My roll was slightly stale and cold (like it had been sitting in a bin for awhile), but I powered through. One of the members of the group could barely eat hers and asked us how we could even get through ours. We thought she was just being dramatic, so we tried it and it was almost a crouton it was so stale. We banged it in the plate to confirm our distaste and the server told us he would bring another one; however, it didn’t come until after our meal arrived and we didn’t want it (it was taken off the bill). For $2 per roll, they should have been MUCH better. Since we had so many carbs as appetizers, I opted for a salad with steak on top for my entree. This was fine - not bad, not great, just....fine. I do have to mention, though, that the salads are more like side salads and not entree salads, however, I thought it was the perfect amount of food with everything else we had ordered. The star (and hands down winner) of the meal was the Mac and Cheese - wow!!!

Pricing: My biggest concern was the pricing on the bill at the end of the evening. I had ordered two Finlandia Moscow Mules (I ordered it verbatim off the menu), which were listed on the menu at $8. For some reason, I was charged $10 for each drink and another person in our group was overcharged by $4/drink for her drinks, as well. I’m kicking myself now for not saying anything, but at the time I didn’t want to rock the boat at my friend’s birthday dinner. I’m not upset about the few extra dollars I spent, but I’m disappointed that they sneakily added in extra charges, for whatever reason.

Overall: My individual final bill, before tip, was almost $60. I’m happy spending that much if food and service warrant it, but I don’t feel it did in this case. For $60, I paid for two Moscow Mules, a side Caesar salad with a small piece of steak on top, and a side of mac and cheese.

Based on the reviews, if service had been stellar and food a little off, I would have tried C Ellet’s again because it could have been an off night. Because of service (or lack thereof) and pricing inconsistencies, I’m sorry to say that will...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at C. Ellet's Steakhouse Battery Atlanta, and I must say it was a truly exceptional experience that deserves a five-star rating. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was captivated by the elegant ambiance, attentive service, and, of course, the mouthwatering cuisine.

The moment I was seated, I was greeted by a knowledgeable and friendly staff who guided me through the menu and made recommendations based on my preferences. The level of service at C. Ellet's is truly outstanding, with each staff member paying close attention to detail and ensuring that every aspect of my dining experience was flawless.

Now let's talk about the star of the show – the food. The menu at C. Ellet's offers a tantalizing selection of prime steaks and seafood dishes, prepared to perfection. The quality of the ingredients was evident in every bite. I opted for the bone-in ribeye, and it was cooked to absolute perfection - juicy, tender, and bursting with flavor. The sides were equally impressive, with classics like the creamed spinach and truffle fries complementing the main course beautifully.

The attention to detail extends beyond the food itself. The presentation of each dish was impeccable, showcasing the culinary artistry that goes into every creation. The menu also boasts an excellent selection of wines and craft cocktails, perfectly paired to enhance the flavors of the dishes. The knowledgeable staff was more than happy to suggest the perfect pairing for my meal, further enhancing my dining experience.

The atmosphere at C. Ellet's is refined yet inviting. The tastefully designed interior exudes sophistication, with a touch of old-world charm. The dim lighting and comfortable seating create a warm and intimate ambiance that is perfect for a romantic dinner or a celebratory gathering. The attention to detail in the decor and the ambiance further contributes to the overall dining experience.

What truly sets C. Ellet's Steakhouse apart is the exceptional level of service. The staff's genuine passion for providing a memorable dining experience shines through in their attentiveness, knowledge, and willingness to go the extra mile. They anticipated my needs and ensured that every aspect of my evening was perfect. The staff's professionalism and warmth truly elevated my dining experience.

In conclusion, dining at C. Ellet's Steakhouse Battery Atlanta was an unforgettable experience. From the delectable cuisine to the impeccable service and elegant atmosphere, this establishment deserves every one of its five stars. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply seeking a remarkable culinary adventure, C. Ellet's is the perfect choice. Zero Stars — Completely Disappointing

This experience deserves a warning to others. Our dinner at C. Ellet’s was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time—especially considering the high price point and the reputation this restaurant tries to uphold.

We waited 30 minutes just to place our appetizer order, and then 15 minutes later, our waitress Jasmine returned to let us know one of the items—the potato skins—was unavailable. After that, she disappeared for another 40 minutes before coming back so we could finally place our entrée order.

All the while, we sat at a tiny, cramped two-top table outside, surrounded by dirty appetizer plates, empty drink glasses, and a bowl of melted ice from our oysters. It sat on the table untouched until the very end, when it was finally picked up—and spilled water everywhere from sitting too long.

Once we placed our entrée order, we waited another 20 minutes just to be told that one of the sides we selected wasn’t available. When our food finally arrived—nearly two hours after being seated—it was a complete letdown.

Our filets with crab Oscar were stone cold, not lukewarm—cold. And beyond the temperature, the food was just bad. We were served boxed whipped potatoes, and everything else tasted like it came straight from a freezer. Absolutely nothing about the meal felt fresh or thoughtfully prepared.

We were so disappointed that we wanted to leave and just go get a pizza, but at that point we had already been there two hours and didn’t want to go through waiting again just to have our food remade.

The entire evening was chaotic—drinks and food were repeatedly brought to the wrong tables, our food was even mistakenly given to another table, and overall, every staff member we interacted with seemed confused and unmotivated.

Jasmine was kind when she was present, but she was missing most of the night and moved very slowly, with no urgency or real awareness of how bad the experience had become.

And to be clear: this was not a busy night. We could see 11 empty tables from our seat.

We tried to end the night on a sweet note by ordering crème brûlée, but even that fell flat. It was served with a fork, and Jasmine told us she’d be back with a spoon. She never came back.

I’ve eaten at C. Ellet’s before and hoped things had improved. They haven’t. In fact, this visit was enough to ensure I won’t be returning. For what they charge, this restaurant should be polished and consistent—not cold food, boxed sides, confused staff, and painfully slow service.

Save your time, your money, and your night—go...
