If you’re heading to a Braves game and want a spot that blends stadium energy with solid food and great drinks, The Chop House at The Battery is the place to be. Sitting right inside Truist Park, it’s got a prime view of the outfield and an electric game-day vibe that’s hard to beat.
Now, don’t let the name fool you—it’s not a traditional steakhouse. The Chop House serves elevated stadium food, and it does it well. The brisket nachos? Loaded and flavorful. The burger? Juicy, cheesy, and perfect with a cold draft beer. It’s not fine dining, but it’s exactly what you want while watching the Braves and soaking in the atmosphere.
The highlight of the night, though, wasn’t just the food or the view—it was Jey the bartender. That man is a legend. Quick with the drinks, sharp with the jokes, and genuinely cool to talk to, Jey made the experience feel less like a stadium bar and more like your favorite local hangout. Whether you want a custom cocktail, a solid beer recommendation, or just good conversation between innings, Jey’s your guy.
Bottom line: The Chop House is a great choice if you’re looking to eat, drink, and enjoy the game without leaving the stadium. It’s not trying to be fancy—it’s just fun. Come hungry, grab a seat at the bar, and definitely say what’s up to Jey. He’ll take care of...
Read moreBEWARE!! THIS PLACE IS BUNK!! Don't come here!! Their servers care more about having running tabs at the standing tables than they do about loyal Atlanta patrons having a good time. We were very excited and eager to spend money as for we came all the way from Las Vegas! As soon as we got to the game I buy 4 drinks at the Coors Light Chop House bar for $38 + tip. When we brought the drinks to the tables (with no chairs) some lame server approaches us with "we can't be here unless we are ordering and have a running tab" lol. I'm like well here is my receipt for these 4 drinks. I suggested, how about refunding these 4 drinks to put on your running tab? We would of ordered food, however, we just ate outside the stadium at the Burn By Rocky Patel (delicious & fun). Anyways, to conclude, the server at the Coors Light Chop House wasn't having it. Obviously, it was clear he was looking to make a killing for his shift. So, he gets his supervisor who also cared more about running tabs smh to tell us the same. As if I didn't just spend over $40. Basically, this situation got to the point where state police came in mean mugging the entire restaurant looking like they were trying to find a drunken steroidal maniac who just snapped. #Lame...
Read moreSeats are great, unfortunately the service has gone downhill quickly. Two stars is ONLY for the seats, I would give the service 0 stars. Last season service was much better, my husband and I sat here last night and service was aweful. Staff was too busy flirting to keep people who did not pay for the seats out. Our server decided to do her last last call at the top of the 6th inning (even though its supposed to be the bottom of the 7th). We ordered drinks when SHE decided to do last call, after about 30 minutes we caught her as she was leaving for the night to ask where our drinks were (and it still wasnt even the bottom of the 7th). The service was slow, the server Jai decided to end service early so she could go home, and the "security " guys were too busy talking to the college age girls to do their job and respect the space of those who paid too much for those seats. We have sat here many times before and always enjoyed it but unfortunately we wont be anymore after last night, management needs to step it up and keep their employees...
