Let me add my 1 star review to the growing chorus of bad reviews for H&F Burgers@The Battery (The Atlanta Braves/SunTrust Park Locatiion). Went in for a late lunch (2p.m.) after a business appoinment nearby. No customers were to be found anywhere at that time. The Bravos were out of town so maybe that was to be expected...but it was really, really dead around H&F. Having had The Original before(And Loved It!), I was looking forward to not having to endure waiting in line with a crowd at a ball game. Unfortunately, It was not a good experience. Cons: 1.Ridiculously expensive for lunch at $20+ for lunch. I can spend less at 5 Guys (and WahlBurgers, Too) and get as good of a burger and get fries and a drink to boot. 2. No Refills on Soft Drinks. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? Atlanta invented Coca Cola! You give what looks like a 12oz cup with a dry as a bone cheeseburger with no customers around and refuse to give refills!!! 3. And the shaved fried onion??? $4 for that??? Skinny onion straws (instead of onion rings).4. I Asked for mustard and Ketchup. Thank goodness they did not charge me extra for that! ( a slice of tomato will cost you $2...R U KIDDING!). They gave me the mustard/ketchup in a paper cup. Fine dining, I guess...lol. I should have gone to either Goldbergs or Wahburger. I would have left full and less aggravated. I will not come back to this location even if a ball game is going on. Fox bros. is a better choice...
Read moreA new location opened a few weeks ago and my coworker and I thought we would give it a try. When we arrived it was cold and they had the doors propped open. We asked to close them and two employees had to go find a manager and asked permission to close the door which seemed absurd but not a big deal. We ordered and for a burger and fries it was $15. That is pretty steep but you get what you pay for so we will see what happens. I asked for a ranch on the side and the lady said they could not do that and had to ask a line cook who told her that obviously we can accommodate that request. The burger was good but the order of french fries was pathetic and underwhelming. There were 18 french fries in a bag that was four times bigger than it needed to be. When we were leaving my coworker asked to have his drink refilled and they refused saying it was cross contaminated. This was the first day they had opened this location and we were the only people in there. To say no to this request was definitely the straw that broke the camel’s back.
If you are paying this kind of money to go to a place that has a very good reputation you expect none of these things to happen let alone all of them. We will never come back here and have told numerous possible customers to avoid at all costs. Definitely go to Wahlburgers or another...
Read moreChicken Sandwich- DO NOT. I REPEAT DO NOT ORDER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCRS. When they ran out of burgers I opted for the Chicken sandwich. E-me. Never have I experienced a sandwich so totally devoid of any discernible flavor. Moreover, it was hard, chewy and dry. A microwaved frozen store-bought patty of compressed, processed faux chicken would be light years better than this dreck. Then it stuck in my gut for hours. My friend could not eat hers. She aptly pointed out it was cooked on Saturday, warmed up on Monday, then on Tuesday, then on Wednesday and served on Thursday. Creatures this tasteless do not deserve to die. Memo to H&F- get this disgraceful insult to chicken sandwiches off your menu! It is tarnishing your name. While you are at it, be sure to fire the people who put it on the menu.
Burger- It is one of the better items at Truist. It comes with fries that travel well without becoming inedible. I wish they would use real cheese though.
Hot Dog used to be good, but they changed it about a year ago and it is no longer on...
