The restaurant itself is very nice. One person in a previous review said, “it appears to have no management” and that’s absolutely correct. I did see one person who was suppose to be a manager walking around but as far as processes and orderly… it seemed to severely struggle. The place wasn’t busy at all on Father’s Day. Which was a shock until we got there and realized it was a bit of a mess.
I had reservations for 11am and called because we were walking up and we’re going to be a few minutes late. I wanted to tell them we were on the way. The hostest didn’t care about my reservation but informed me we couldn’t be served until 11:30 no matter what because they were “transferring the kitchen” I was confused because I made the reservation on open door for 11. I asked why they allowed me to make a reservation at that time then and she’s like I’m not sure who took your reservation but you can’t get food until 11:30. “Ugh, ok, well I guess we will see you” I replied and she never even acknowledged being late or our reservation in general. Well, when we arrived the hostess sat us and the server was visibly flustered she put us at her table. She even approached the hostess about why she sat us in her section right in front of us while standing at our table. Never acknowledge us though. When she came by to give us 2 or the 3 waters we needed, I asked for a spritz (on the menu) the server snapped back “what is that” and then, when I showed her on the menu she just walked away.
We decided that sitting in our section may be a little too much for the overwhelmed server so we went to ask the hostess if the high tops by the bar were serviced by the bartender or another server. They didn’t seem to know. When my husband asked if we could move there they just sort of shrugged at him and said “I guess”
We then approached the bar and asked if they were the ones who could serve that section. The bartender seemed confused but helped and said yes she’d take care of us there. She was actually very pleasant and helpful. However, her counterpart behind the bar struggled, badly.
We ordered an app for our 2 year old as soon as we sat in our new section. Then, after our drink order and a menu review we ordered our meals. Well, 30 minutes went by and we never got our app but our meals came.
They said they were going to bring the app out but at that point we tried to request they don’t because we didn’t need it anymore. We were hoping the person who looked like a manger would come by but she never did. So, we asked a different bartender (our original had left to go eat) who told us she’d handle it and never did. We also ordered a drink from her twice and she literally just never made it. We’d order and walk back to our seat and she’d just keep it moving like we never approached.
The manager never handled our mishap with food but the first bartender made sure we didn’t have to pay for it.
All on all it could be a great place but they Omni needs to pony up some money on proper processes and management if they want it to be worth going there.
I’ll say the food was pretty good but I wouldn’t go back… which is disappointing. I wanted to love it. Service just wasn’t worth the cost, at all. I need to reiterate that the place wasn’t busy at all when we were there. So, it wasn’t just a “too busy” thing. I even mentioned to my husband that it’s a good thing they weren’t busy it would be a total...

A group of us found a delightful place to dine at the Chop House stadium gate - called "National Anthem". Their starting team includes Manager Crystal, who runs the place and makes everything perfect. Servers Zeta and Jessica, have smiles that light up the room. They are the perfect combination of courtesy and service. Up front is a well stocked bar with plenty of room for friends. The program includes Soups, or Salads, or Sandwiches which come with garlic salted french fries or ranch house slaw. Their Steak Frites entrees are grilled from choice angus. Select filet, flat iron, and ribeye- all guaranteed to please. Also on the roster are Seafood plates, Fish & Chips, Shrimp Sizzle with Cheddar Cauliflower "Grits", Rigatoni Alla Vodka with chicken, shrimp, or meatballs, Pan-Roasted Chicken, and Bay of Fundy Salmon. Experience might vary depending on when you visit. I was here on Sunday for breakfast wheee there were a total of 7 different parties present. If you're here during a baseball game, the level of service might differ.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. When I expressed disappointment in my "latte", the waiter offered to fix it.
I have to talk about that $5 "latte" because it was the biggest disappointment of my whole experience. The latte is no different than a Waffle House coffee. Starbucks latte is better. I've had some good lattes recently so this failure is especially sore. I confirmed with the waiter that this was indeed a latte and not a coffee with cream. He offered to remake it with double shots. I declined because I don't think it would really be any different. But he offered, so thanks. If you're here, just get the coffee. They're probably the same thing...
