My husband and I went to Tavern at the Mall of Ga today for Sunday Brunch. It was our first time there, and we were very disappointed. When we first arrived we were told by our server that the cook was running late, and she wasn’t sure when he would arrive, he actually arrived maybe 10 minutes later. I ordered a drink from the drink menu, and was told by the server they didn’t have one of the ingredients for the drink (grapefruit juice). We started with the chicken and waffles, they were served to us pretty fast, and they tasted pretty good. We later ordered meatballs and a 12 pc wings with fries to go. The wings took forever, and when my husband got home and opened up his container he only had 8 wings. When our server gave us our check, it reflected $17 was already added in for gratuity and our total was $108; however when we received the receipt it said $112. When I asked the server why the total changed she said there is a credit card fee, she never told us how much the fee was, nor were we asked if we wanted to pay with cash instead to avoid any fees. The staff should definitely explain to the guest there is a fee charged if your not using cash, and give the quest option to pay with cash or card. Needless to say we will never patronize this...

My Son Father and I Few others family members was visiting the lounge for first time after our son Highschool graduation! Yes, I live Buford and thought we should give this business some support or a try. We actually came to watch the game, but of course we ordering food, drinks NON STOP Spending money. We had to wait a long period of time for food, the waitress was talking and not being attentive to us, cool we still stayed. The manager sent a young lady from the front door to come tell us we had to get up and move cause someone wanted the section, didn’t give us an opportunity to buy it or anything just you have to move. I Could’ve bought the section we was in 20 times or more (not being arrogant) very distasteful and tacky. As an Owner of a night club myself, One thing i know how to do well is read the room! Maybe the manager needs to take some training or customer service skills, But I will continue to drive to Atlanta to Vibe out this wasn’t it. Oh Yes!! I Tipped the waitress really good...
Read moreCame here last night to try to watch the ufc fight. I asked before I sat down at the bar if they would be showing it, as it was already 8:30 and the pre-lims were on. The 2 employees acted confused but then looked up at the poster on their wall advertising that they would be showing the fight and confirmed they are. Another employee begins scrolling channels and asks me do I know what channel it's on. I informed him it's a pay-per-view event, he's not going to find it on a live channel. At which point he states "oh, we're probably not going to have it then". I've already ordered a drink at this point so now I have to pay and leave to another bar thats actually showing the fight. I confirm with the employee who originally confirmed the fight would be shown that the fight, in fact, would not be shown. He said he was waiting on a text back from the manager as to what channel it's on. It's not on a channel!!! Isn't this a bar/lounge? How is this not known?
