The servers were extremely nice... however, I must be honest. The stuffed French toast was 2 huge pieces of French bread with blacken butter on it and a sloppy mess of some sort of cream and it was drowned in a gooey mess of some kind of bland berries. The side of bacon was almost black and stale. And to top it off it was cold...I'm very disappointed. I really wish it wasn't such a horrible eating experience. I didn't finish my food. I shut my mouth and paid 13.00 for the food. I'm sorry daily bread. Please up your food game or fire your cook😔 I love the atmosphere and your worker's, but the food sucked. Also, I got food poisoning.....stayed up all night.

Response to owners reply: "I couldn't find a way to respond to you. I honestly forgot to leave a tip and I feel horrible about it. I hate not tipping. But I was feeling sick, and you already had two customers complain while we were there. So I decided to just be quiet and pay and leave a review. I didn't want to cause a scene. "

Response to Owners last response: I wasn't trying to get anyone fired. Not sure why you said that either. I'm not sure why you think it's okay to personally attack me on here when all I did was leave a review. That's what reviews are for. I'm glad other people enjoy your food. I didn't. And it made my trip less enjoyable because I was sick. I didn't want to ruin the trip for my sister, I sucked it up and did what she had planned. Don't try and shame me for that. I felt sick all day and tried to enjoy myself. Lashing out because someone gave you a bad review is childish. Learn from the review. I'm not trying to be mean. And I wish things hadn't happened like they did. I wish your restaurant the best of luck. I just hope you stop the hate...

We have been loyal patrons of Daily Bread since the mid-90s, visiting 2 to 3 weeks a year minimum, which adds up to many trips over the years. We have always enjoyed wonderful meals and attentive service. However, during our most recent visit on Monday, October 7, we experienced a troubling departure from the usual high standards.

Our server, Hannah, exhibited a dismissive attitude from the outset. At 73, I’m accustomed to certain assumptions, but when she delivered the wrong order, I politely asked for a correction. My wife, sitting across the table, witnessed her roll her eyes and display a look of disdain. Her actions were not only unprofessional but deeply disrespectful.

After this unpleasant interaction, we went to the front counter to speak with the girl at the register. While we were explaining the issue, Hannah approached and began arguing with us directly. To our astonishment, she then stated, “The owners love me,” clearly indicating she felt her behavior would be excused.

It is deeply concerning to see a staff member not only deliver poor service but also openly argue with customers and feel immune to consequences. I urge the ownership to reevaluate how their staff is representing their establishment. The long-term success of any business depends on fostering a positive experience for its patrons, not enabling employees who disregard...

If you want the short explanation: FOOD POISONING. If you want a long explanation: If there was an option for no stars, I would have done that. My husband and I were looking forward to eating here since we had heard so many good things about it. I don't normally leave reviews, and if I do, its very positive. This is an exception but I feel it's necessary for the sake of others. We were going through Glenwood as a part of our honeymoon. We stopped in here to get some food since we had heard it was good. My husband liked what he ordered, but I wasn't a fan of how my food tasted. That's really besides the point though. The reason I'm writing this, is because I got food poisoning. Food poisoning in general is miserable but couple that with being on your honeymoon. Needless to say, I will never be going back to this restaurant. For anyone who decides to eat here, I really hope you don't end up feeling the way I did. Next time I'm in Glenwood and I want some breakfast, I'll be sure to go somewhere that takes public health seriously and is more reputable. That way I can be sure I get something that not only tastes good, but also doesn't make me sick. Thank you for reading! Hopefully I saved some other people's bellies!...

Thai place is awesome!!! I was greeted with warmth when I walked in the door, and most of that was coming from the personality of the lady that welcomed me in. I was told that there would be a little bit of a wait but I would receive a text when my table was ready. That gave me time to get a couple insta pics of Glenwood. My table was ready much quicker than I was quoted. When I returned I was again greeted by the most inviting hostess I have ever encountered. Even if I had only interacted with her I would be a lifelong customer. When I sat down I realized that this is the culture here. All of these people are awesome!!! I was offered some "under the counter" hot sauce for my amazing Spinbacado Benedict. I heard servers speaking Spanish with guests, which is even more awesome!!! Splurge and get a side of Polish Sausage with whatever you order. I want that meat in my mouth all the time, now.

After doing an intensive hanging lake trail we were looking to have breakfast and decided to have breakfast at Daily Bread. We were seated on our table by our server Corina and she bought water along with menus. For drinks we ordered Orange Juice and Coffee. After exploring the menu we ordered Avocado Toast, Tofu Scramble and Veggie Omelette. Our server bought our drinks and drinks were refreshing and we loved both orange juice as well as coffee which was hot. The service was good and we got our food in 10-15 minutes. Avocado Toast was good and avocado was fresh. The tofu scramble was also tasty and delicious. The ingredients in the scramble was fresh and tasty. The veggie omelette was tasty too. The fruit plate along with the bread and potato was also amazing. All in all amazing breakfast restaurant with a lot of menu options.

My family traveled from Kansas, Washington and California to meet up for my birthday. We tried to eat here for my birthday breakfast. We are a party of 11, one of us is under 3. We were told we couldn’t be seated because we are too big of a party. So we split up into a party of 6 and 5. They still wouldn’t seat us because they knew we were together. I explained that we could be seated completely separate and would pay separately, still no. I asked for a manager and was completely ignored. I can not believe the attitude we got. Denying us service was uncalled for. The girl that was rude to us is not pictured the guy in the pictures was acting like a manager but wouldn’t pay attention to me at all. Ignoring people is soooooooo rude. Denying service to a retired Army Veteran is horrible! Definitely won’t be back.
