Went for dinner. Had the 3 meat plate pictured in the review. I also included picture of the 5 sauces served on the table. Let’s start with the positive. Generous portion for the price. I had 2 serving of ribs and 1 serving of beef brisket. All the meats were smoked very well with a nice bark on the outside. Was very tender all around. The creamed spinach was excellent and well seasoned. Now for of the negative. The ribs were too salty. This my first time eating ribs that over-salted in the preparation. I had the smoking slaw as my second side and this dish had virtually no salt and was very bland. It is not a sweet slaw so a bit of tanginess and more salt would have made it perfect. It has nacho strips and pine nuts which gives a great texture. The 5 bbq sauces on the table were good but all very light in flavor. The Texas fire one was not very smoky nor was it spicy.Overall the flavors were decent but the preparation needs some tweaking.Nothing special about the decor but it smells great with the smoker somewhere around the place. I gave it a 3 in hope that they will improve. I will go back and it is worth trying if you haven’t yet. Went back a few months later. Had the 2 meat platter. Ribs were great as well as the brisket. Brussels sprouts and spinach sides were really delicious. Gave them one more star to 4. Rated them a 3 after my first visit.

Stumbled upon Smoke BBQ after checking in at the charming Hotel Colorado (see my review on the hotel) and wow! YUM! The day we arrived, the county had put into place restrictions for dine-in restaurants so most were only offering take out, but Smoke has an enclosed patio with a tent and the fire pit was going and they had hot air being blown into the tent and it was plenty cozy warm! We have eaten a lot of BBQ and this was sooo good! We were starving after our 5 hour road trip from Utah and we had the Queso starter which was the BEST queso I have ever had! And I love queso. The cheese was creamy with a rich sharpness, almost reminiscent of au gratin potatoes, and topped with smoked brisket and a dollop of pico de Gallo and a wedge of fresh lime. For our entrees we had the brisket and pork and Mac and cheese, sweet potatoes fries, coleslaw, and beans. The meat was so tender and had a noticeable smoke flavor. The tables had a generous offering of bottled BBQ sauces to sample. The KC Royal was my favorite! The sides were delicious as well. Definitely recommend!

YUMMMMM. just from the smell alone your mouth will water. The brisket is so incredibly tender it was hard to eat with my hands. I was being a bit barbaric lol but also a good way to test how tender the meat was. It was juicy, and filled with flavor. The Cole slaw was simple, yummy. The Texas toast was toasted to perfection. Can't recall which sauce I used (wasn't the spicy or the sweet) but it was a perfect compliment to the beef brisket. Which really didn't need any sauce as it boasts such a bold delicious flavor itself. This restaurant also participates in the drinks under the bridge and make it really easy! (Some restaurants downtown don't). I ordered to go and ate and drank under the bridge. Highly recommend! Will definitely be back to indulge more of the menu. The 2 combo plate with chicken and brisket caught my eye for a future meal. I can't wait and something delicious to look forward to on my next visit!

Kinda disappointed because a few friends have eaten here and loved it. Our waiter was decent but we heard the other waiter tell the specials in great detail so we asked our waiter for them. He didn’t know the Happy Hour very well and also didn’t know what the specials were for the night. Wish we would have listened to the other guy. Ordered the smoked wings and onion rings for apps and they were excellent! Some of the best wings I’ve ever had! Then we got the Mac and cheese with burnt ends. The burnt ends were so dry it was like eating jerky. And the mac and cheese had a super weird flavor and was not good at all. Kinda old tasting. The brisket sandwich was ok but pretty dry. And the baked beans tasted like pure ketchup. Would have ordered only wings if I would have known everything else. Also no hot water in the bathroom so that was super odd.

We come to Glenwood for vacation every few yrs! This was our first time and This place was absolutely amazing. The food here was so 🔥 😋 I don't eat chicken on the bone, this smoked chicken was perfect. I don't think I can eat chicken unless it's from this place (that's how good it was) the brisket was melt in your mouth perfect. The spicy sausage was just right ✅️ perfect balance of spicy! As for the pork and jalapeño Mac and cheese!!! First time ever having something like this and it didn't disappoint 🙌. The creamy cheese and jalapeños set this apart from all Mac and cheese I've ever had. This is a must try here. For dessert we tried the banana pudding! It's amazing the fresh bananas and Carmealized sugar is a first, which was a delightful twist. We loved it and would recommend this place to anyone taking a vacation or just a good dinner 🙌

This was some good barbecue! We started with the pork nachos and fried pickles. Who serves honey mustard with fried pickles? Not my favorite...but the pulled pork nachos were delish! So good and would recommend! For dinner, 2 of us got the pulled pork sandwiches. One got a special which was the Scampi Mac N Cheese...which was pretty good. I enjoyed the 2 meat plate with pulled pork and spare ribs. The kc bbq sauce is yummy. They had some Brussel sprouts on the side which was fantastic. My hubby got the two meat plate with brisket and pulled pork. He had the creamed spinach which was also tasty. Our waitress didn't seem to know drinks..she served him a darker beer on tap she said was like Blue Moon. I got a spooky margarita which was pretty good! Overall, would definitely recommend and come back.
