I ordered online and chose delivery..on the Cracker Barrel website... I paid with a gift card (the website had a section for a gift card) and received a confirmation that my food would be ready to dispatch at 7:38 pm... and received a confirmation number that I paid and my order was placed. My order was placed at 6:52.. I called Cracker Barrel to confirm my delivery. The first person said my order was placed but not paid for and I would have to come in and pay with my gift card because she said you can’t do that online...after discussion she transferred me to the TOGO order person who told me the order was placed, paid for, and ready for pickup. I told them I chose delivery. I was told I had to come and pick up my order because it does not show delivery. I loaded my grandson into the car and drove up there and asked to speak to the manager who told me I needed to contact door dash to get any money back because I asked if I was up charged and told him I placed the order directly from the Cracker Barrel website. And he gave me doordash support number.. driving home I received a text that my deliverer (doordash) was on their way to get my order at Cracker Barrel...and it would be delivered at 7:44. Arriving home we started to eat and because my food was made immediatley and not at 7:38.. our food was cold. I contacted the manager again as I believe the fault was Cracker Barrel’s for not waiting to make the food and then telling me I had to pick up my order... I was also told I was up charged for door dash.. I also paid a 15% tip because I thought my food was being delivered. I called and spoke to the manager again who apologized and said... I don’t want to keep giving you free food you need to contact customer support... FIRST.. I was NOT given any FREE food check the reciept I paid for everything I received.. the desserts were part of my order ... SECOND .. while I was there or when I called when I was instructed to pick up my food...and I asked if it was going to be cold and she said no... did Cracker Barrel offer to make a NEW order so we would go home with hot food. My food was made within minutes of ordering when the confirmation said it would not be ready for pickup/dispatch until 7:38 we arrived at approx 7:20-7:30 so our food had already been sitting at least half an hour ... this is the worst experience I’ve ever had with a Cracker Barrel .. store number 554 MNGR Andrew.. Read moreThis evening, I placed an online order through Cracker Barrel‘s mobile app. I chose delivery and once I checked out and paid for my order, I noticed that it is being delivered through Uber. I received my order, and the kitchen ticket taped to my bag has all of the correct items, however, my order was missing an item. To be honest, this seems to happen every time I place an online order with Cracker Barrel, and I continue to believe it’ll get better next time. When I attempted to call the Greenfield Cracker Barrel, I spoke to a manager who told me that I have to contact Uber. I explained that the order was not packed properly and I’m asking for them to make it right for me. The manager told me that he was told that as soon as an order leaves their doors it’s no longer in their hands, even if they got the order wrong. The problem with reaching out to Uber is that I didn’t place it through my Uber account, I placed it through Cracker Barrel and Uber has no record of my order or my delivery because it was not placed under my Uber account. So I am stuck without getting any real help because there’s no one taking accountability. I understand everyone makes mistakes as I do myself, however, when there is an issue and it’s just pointing fingers at someone else instead of taking responsibility, I find it really frustrating. Especially since the one thing they did not pack is the one thing that I really placed the order for. Read moreWent to the Greenfield location for Thsnksgiving. Waited 1 hr & 15 mins to be seated. Then hostess was rude because seating request was for a party of 9 and we ended up having 10 people. The table they were seating us at only accommodated 9 people and she just kept telling us we told them 9 people. She was extremely rude. Granted, our mistake but we have 10 and she basically refused to try to resolve the matter. The waitress watched her in total disbelief. I guess she expected the 10th person to either stand or leave. Finally I told her not to worry about it and that we'd resolve the problem ourselves. We fixed the table so we could all sit down. We are placing ours orders and find out they are only serving a limited menu which doesn't even include the holiday specials they've plastered all over television. Seriously!! We then waited another 1 1/2 hrs for our food. Finally! 4 of the 10 meals had incorrect items. It looked like the cook staff was just putting items on plates to get the ord er ts out. The corn muffins were burnt to the point they were black and should've been thrown in the garbage versus served. Worst experience I've ever had at a Cracker Barrel. They obviously were not prepared.
