Blu lounge & club — Restaurant in Greenville

You descend a narrow twisting staircase into the lair of the Blu Martini. A dimly lit windowless cavern sprawls out before you. As you step into the fray your head jostles from sonic blasts. Without a path of escape, the music vibrates against the dungeon-like walls drumming back into your ear. Like the music, you feel trapped and directionless.

You slink toward the bar, dodging fumbling drunks and negotiating past patrons that post up in the narrow throughways. The bar is wood with carnival tokens scattered throughout and unevenly laminated over. Although you cannot hear the bartender over the awful din, you interpret her gaze as asking for your drink order. Behind you is a long glassless window to the back lounge. It acts as a voyeuristic television set to watch inebriated intertwine.

You see a dull-eyed desperation all around you, and then you see yourself.....

I recently went to Blu Nightclub and had a terrible experience with the bartender. I ordered a drink, but when it was brought to me, it tasted terrible and was not at all what I had asked for. I politely asked the bartender to fix my drink, but she refused, claiming she had made it perfectly.

I was shocked by the bartender's behavior. I explained that the drink was not what I had asked for, and that I couldn't even drink it. But the bartender continued to argue with me, insisting that he had made it correctly and refusing to fix it.

I was really disappointed with the service at Blu Nightclub. The bartender was rude and unhelpful, and it was clear that she didn't care about the quality of her work. I would not recommend this nightclub to anyone, as the terrible service ruined my...

The place is either packed full or basically dead. They don't have enough staff on the floor when it is packed. It's hard to get drinks, and it's not clean. One girl threw up, and no one cleaned it or attempted to block off the area or out up a warning sign. I get that it's a club, but yikes! No one was pleased to have throw up on their shoes. The music was okay at first, but later in the night, it dropped off into something no one was vibing to. Also, there isn't much security. No one checked our bags and no metal detectors to get in. Cheap cover charge of $5. Close a little early, but I guess that's all of greenville. Overall, it's a cute little club underground but not the best club...
