I was really looking forward to trying Tahini. When we were arrived, everything looked fresh. Since this was our first time, we didn’t realize it didn’t come with sauces and it wasn’t something that was recommended even though they asked us if it was our first time. Once our food arrived, and we realized there weren’t any sauces we asked for one of each. We were told that they were $.50 each, which we were fine with the waitress told us she would leave an open ticket. But then she took our credit card at the table and charged us so when we wanted more sauces, she seemed frustrated. I said that it was OK to leave or take it open because I was going to purchase some cookies. When we were done eating went back up to the register I asked if I could purchase one cookie I’ve never had them before so I didn’t wanna have to purchase three of them. They were $2.50. I offered to pay one dollar, she said you had to buy three I pointed out that there were only four left. So I asked again and she still said no. It was very surprising. I didn’t feel like the waitress was very friendly. I’ve been in business for many years and if it was me I would charge a little more money and at least give the option for one sauce when someone’s ordering this way it also brings to their attention that there are sauces available. I was also very disappointed as we got the beef wrap and it had a lot of beets in it, and they were very hard, which made it difficult to chew. I think there’s a lot of potential there. Hopefully, they’ll make...

My husband and I had lunch at Tahini today. What a flavor experience! We ordered four of the five shareables and the “Not-So-Traditional Chicken Sandwich.” A lot of food for two people, yes, but we wanted to try all the things! The tabbouleh is fresh and vibrant and is health in a bowl. The falafel….the best I’ve ever had. The grape leaves were so delicious, although a bit inconsistent in texture. Several were firm and could be picked up with our hands, and several were too soft to be eaten without a utensil. The fries were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the garlic mayo….🤯. Lastly, the sandwich is probably going to be a weekly thing for me. It’s beyond.

The restaurant was humming with energy when we arrived. The owner wife introduced herself while she was clearing a table, as her husband worked behind the counter with a group of hard-working staff. The cherry on top? The prices are unbelievably low, especially considering the amount of food on the plate and the freshness of the ingredients.

Visit this new Middle Eastern gem in Downtown Greenville. You’ll be...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This place is the real deal! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a genuine welcome and a warm, inviting atmosphere. It’s a modern take on a classic Mediterranean restaurant, and everything is prepared fresh right in front of you.

The owner personally shared stories and experiences while expertly preparing what turned out to be the best souvlaki I’ve ever had! We ordered both chicken and beef — and honestly, it’s impossible to say which was better. Each one was perfectly seasoned and bursting with authentic flavor.

The prices are very reasonable, especially given the quality and care in every dish. Add in the friendly staff and the owner’s passion for great food, and you’ve got a winning combination.

This restaurant has absolutely earned a permanent spot on our family’s list every time we’re in town. When genuine hospitality meets incredible flavor, you’ve truly...

Ep. 4 ft. Middle Eastern food @tahini.gvl 🙌🙌 for my newest episode of “Eating Around the World in Greenville” 🌎 @tahini.gvl is a new restaurant here in downtown Greenville (11 College St.) serving up some delicious bites!! Today I had @rakan_d as my guest!!! He is so knowledgeable in Middle Eastern bites and it was a joy having him & his golden retriever energy on this episode!! Welcome @tahini.gvl to Greenville! What an amazing place to have here downtown serving authentic Middle Eastern street food. We loved everything we had! 🤗 - Falafel - crunchy on the outside, cornbread texture on the inside but not dry at all, and it’s gluten free! - Hummus!! Yum!! - Za’atar fries were fantastic - thick cut and served with harissa and a lemony garlic sauce - Fattoush salad - not pictured here - was sooo fresh! It’s loaded with herbs and veggies (I just ran out of time in my video!) ✨Our favorite bite✨ The traditional chicken sandwich!!! WOW. I mean, it was so perfect. While it has a short ingredient list, you can tell that the chicken, the sauce, etc was all a labor of love before being wrapped and pressed (with beef tallo YUM!). Honestly, I just want to go grab a ton of this chicken to go and have it for meal prep all week long. It’s so flavorful and juicy!! Send this to your foodie family and friends to go check this place out! #greenvillesc #southcarolina #restaurantreview #wheretoeat | new restaurant in Greenville, South Carolina, middle eastern food in Greenville, kebabs in Greenville

Ever since I spotted the Shawarma grills in the shop window, I’ve been eagerly waiting for the grand opening. Today, by pure chance, my wife and I walked by – and to our delight, we were invited to be test tasters. What an amazing surprise! The food was absolutely outstanding: the Falafel were perfectly crispy and full of flavor, the Shawarma was incredibly fresh and packed with taste, and the Mahshi Warak were wonderfully light and refreshing. I didn’t take many photos – but that speaks for itself, as we were far too busy enjoying every bite. Thank you again, Habib and Crystal, for the warm welcome and your wonderful hospitality! We’ll definitely be regulars and are already excited for the official opening!

I’m so happy this place is here! I was able to duck in and try the falafel wrap and it was HUGE! I was sad I couldn’t eat it all in one sitting bc it was sooo good. I also wanted to try the grape leaves, but they had just sold out which I can only assume means they are really good. The hummus, oh my gosh, it’s amazing. I could have licked the plate! It’s great to get for the table to go along with fries. The dining area is small, so if you’re coming with a large group it might be a tight squeeze to find a table. Drinks are sold out of a fridge, not a fountain machine so keep that in mind as well. This is a great place for take away or a quick, easy stop while you’re hanging out downtown.
