I went in trying to return a dress I bought, I had the receipt went up and was told I can only get store credit or exchange it. I went around tried on and looked at a couple dresses, during that time two associates were assisting the same woman and offered no help until we no longer needed it as we were walking out the door. I found nothing I liked and didn’t want store credit for a store with mediocre clothing and customer service so I walked out with the dress I walked in with and was followed out into the street by the assistant manager and she asked what I had in my bag. Assistant manager later claimed, when called to be confronted on what happened, that she was trying to make sure we had the receipt and now claims she was just trying to check the dress to see if we needed a different size yet after seeing what was in the bag she just walked away. This older woman shouted at my younger sister and I as we were crossing the street asked us about the return (that they again said we could not get) , after telling her the store policy we had just been told about she said “so what dress do you have in the bag” I replied with “the same one I had when we walked in”. With not another word she turned around and walked away. Not only is this return policy not posted anywhere CLEARLY visible in the store, no one told us of it before the purchase and said policy is only on the receipt given to you AFTER your purchase. Maybe instead of stopping customers while they are completely out of the store and in the street after we already told you we found nothing and after being told we could not return our item, your store should focus on customer service and notifying people of an idiotic...
Read moreI am beyond disappointed in this store, unfortunately I would say I will never be returning but since they don’t take returns….i guess I’ll have to. I would have likely gone back but don’t really want to after today. My 6 year old daughter picked me a dress from this store for my birthday and was beyond excited to receive it but unfortunately it was a size too big so I went to exchange the dress for a size down but they didn’t have my size which was a bummer. The dress cannot be shipped from any of the other stores nor can it be ordered online. It came in 3 colors and they didn’t have a small in any of the colors, actually they only had 1 long dress in the whole store that was a small, so nothing to even exchange it for. I live 40 mins away so won’t make it out much to shop there. I would have loved it to return the dress and have my daughter pick me a dress from somewhere else but due to this policy I am unable and who knows at what point I’ll ever even be able to use this gift card. What a bummer, I’m beyond disappointed!!!!! Read moreBuyer beware. If you’re not told that they don’t return items, you’ll have to read it on the stand they put buy the credit card reader. Its not that evident, so they should be honest enough to tell you, but they’re not. They rely on you reading their get out of jail free message, saying they only exchange or store credit, even two days after purchase with the tags still on the item. The assistant manager was nice enough while telling me that they don’t care, but that’s really what it boiled down to, they don’t care. We now have a $53 gift card that we’ll be handing off as a gift as I never want to step foot back into a shop that doesn’t clearly relay their policies.
