Sharkey's Pub — Restaurant in Greenville

Terrible customer service! I was here a few weeks ago and lost my phone in the bar (obviously my fault - not blaming the bar for that) but I have tried non stop for almost a month now to get in touch with the bar and they have not responded once. I call every single day at all hours they are open (early, dinner time, even a few times around midnight) and they have not once answered the phone, and their voice mailbox is full. I have reached out to them on Facebook and emailed them numerous times but no response. The cherry on top is I had my friend stop by the bar during their hours of operation (I am from out of town) and she said the lights and TVs were on inside but the door was locked so she couldn’t get in. Definitely the strangest thing I have ever seen happen! I don’t know what kind of business doesn’t have a working telephone number. I won’t speak to the food and beverages of the place, but as far as I can tell this is not the best...

We were walking around N. Main and saw the pub so stopped in to see what type of food they had. We ordered beers and got a menu. I wanted a White Russian, but they don't stock cream because they don't use it enough. The bartender told us he'd be right back. It seems all 3 bartenders were more worried about hanging out with the regulars rather than helping new patrons. One of them finally came over and took our order. We went to sit outside since it was nice out, plus the pub had a weird smell inside. The bartender then came out and told us they were out of mushrooms for my Philly cheesesteak and also out of bacon for the BLT. They gave like 5 items on the menu and are out of ingredients??? How hard can it be to make sure you are well stocked, especially on a weekend. The Philly was ok, but the bread was tough. The BLT wasn't worth eating. Visit at...

Sharkey's is my spot in downtown Greenville. Always exceptional service from my favorite Thursday downtown bartender Cas. She knows what I want and she knows how to serve. She's like the local guide for Greenville, pointing customers to all the great spots for different activities and dining places. Always friendly and cheerful, but serious when it comes to getting her job done. She can take multiple orders and serve customers at the same time! Colleen is my Monday night bartender, always kind, nice and friendly, she knows me as well and I never have to tell her when I'm ready for another drink!
