The People's Tap — Restaurant in Greenville

I don't know where to start. I really like this place and visit more than I'd like to admit, lol.

Excellent selection of craft beers. Taps are always rotating, but I love that they keep the styles balanced (eg, not all IPAs at once). They support a number of local and regional breweries, which is fantastic. They also maintain a varied selection of bottles/cans including seltzers, ciders, and gluten free/reduced. Add in their wine list, and there really is something no matter your preference.

It's a great location along the Swamp Rabbit Trail not far off Main Street making it easy to stop in while on a trial walk / bike ride or a downtown stroll. Sit outside to enjoy a view of the trail and river (and my favorite group of ducks).

They have a very cool concept to accompany their well curated craft beer selection - a system of voting (from your phone after scanning a QR code) to determine a ranking of the customer’s favorite beers currently on draft. No matter where your choice is on the rankings though, you’re guaranteed to enjoy a great beer. Additionally they have wine and some nonalcoholic options if that’s your jam.

The staff is consistently friendly and knowledgeable. Julia and Jennifer both provide awesome recommendations and customer service - and they have done an excellent job finding passionate, kind, intelligent staff to enhance and reflect their habits and vision.

What a wonderful addition to downtown Greenville! I cannot speak highly enough of this taproom and its owners! We hosted our day after wedding lunch here and it was such a blast! Julia was a pleasure to work with and she made our event run so smoothly. We were able to cater in bbq for our 60 guests and then had a variety of drink options at the People's Tap. Many of our guests are from out of town and just raved about the atmosphere, location, and drinks here. Our guests really enjoyed the outside seating/standing area. I highly recommend hosting an event here OR just dropping by for a drink or two :) The location is fantastic and the owners...
