J.D.'S Bait Shop Sports Grill — Restaurant in Greenwood Village

I dropped in for a few cocktails fairly late(11:30)on a friday night with a friend. The staff was very personable, we were greeted as soon as we walked in the door by one of the bartenders, and we had our drink order shortly after finding a spot at the rather large bar. The drinks and shots were great, fairly priced, and you didnt have to wait forever to place and receive subsequent drink orders.

I didnt order any food so i cant comment on that aspect, but i will definitely give them a shot the next time I am in the area.

The Atmosphere was much better than I expected, the music wasn't too loud, so we didnt have to go outside just to have a conversation. There was also at least one pool table in the back, which i didnt have a chance to play, but it looked very inviting and well kept. The bar area and the bathrooms were really clean and well stocked, a definite plus!

We were told about this place by a new acquaintance & I'm glad he recommended it. We got here around 7pm or so on a Saturday night so it was pretty packed. They've got 4 pool tables which unfortunately we couldn't get one to become open to play but we'll be back to try. There's also a couple games like a shooting game (Big Buck or something similar), darts and plenty of tvs with all the games playing. The vibe was chill yet lively. Very comfortable setting. Our waitress was ON IT. I was very impressed with the service, especially how crowded it was. The drinks came out immediately and the food was shortly after. Fresh and tasty. We got the appetizer sampler, fried shrimp, a burger, a Reuben plus a soda, 4 beers, 2 whisky shots and 2 pickle shots. For 3 people with all of that it came out to a hundred bucks. Update 1/7/23 Took a chance stopped by and the service was much better, Leiha (sp?) was great, attentive and fun. Food has improved, will def be back!

I used to be a regular and loved going here until I moved a few years ago. Tonight I happened to be in the area so invited my sister for a drink and bite to eat. Major disappointment. The 2 male bartenders were more interested in talking to eachother and watching TV while we sat for several minutes waiting to be acknowledged. When we finally got our food order this place failed yet again. We both had fish tacos and there was more tortilla than fish... I don't even know there was any fish to be honest. Thank God for the 1 female bartender that was doing the job of 3. Needless to say, we won't be visiting again. Very disappointing experience. I recommend you think twice...
