We've had a bit of a rocky experience with this location so far, but we would definitely be willing to go there again in the future. After months of wanting to try Freddy's, we placed an order for carry-out on the website last night at 9:14 (it said it would be ready in 10-15 min), and my husband went to pick it up. They were SWAMPED, so he opted for the drive-thru and got to the window around 9:45, where he was told that they hadn't even started our order yet. We were admittedly tired and irritable with two equally tired and irritable toddlers, so we just didn't have the patience to wait any longer. I called at 9:50pm to cancel the order, but couldn't get ahold of anyone, though that wasn't surprising considering how busy they were. I stopped by this morning to speak with someone and explain what had happened, and they offered to remake our order, which I happily accepted. I guess the order was put through as dine-in, so I asked them if they could pack it up for me. It wasn't until I got home that I realized the employee who packed it forgot to put our fries in the bag too, which was disappointing.
That being said, the food was pretty good and the staff I spoke with was all super friendly and understanding of the whole situation. Mistakes happen, and forgotten french fries won't kill anyone. Hopefully things go more smoothly next...
Read moreI’ve tried this location twice and both times were disappointing. My first visit was 12/26. Online ordering wasn’t available and I had to place my take out order in store. I ordered a large side of cheese curds, but received a regular size. The cheese wasn’t melted all of the way and there was a random chunk of something unidentifiable in the mix. I decided to give them a second try since the first visit could have been a fluke. Online ordering was finally available and I placed an order through the app today. When I arrived, there were multiple orders on the counter next to the register on the left. I waited while the cashier finished helping another customer. Out of the three orders sitting on the counter, one was mine. The cashier asked me for the name on my order. She then told me that she needed to bag up the other orders first. I was the only customer waiting at the time. I watched as she slowly bagged up two other orders. She then reaches for my bag (with 2 items), places the bag in a bigger bag, and tapes it shut. She then again asked for my name and finally hands me my order that’s been sitting on the counter getting cold. The food quality was also horrible. The burger was super dry and the order of cheese curds was soggy. I definitely will not return to...
Read moreMy son's bacon double cheeseburger was thinner than usual undercooked and cold with bacon that was not crispy. My veggie burger was cold and undercooked (if cooked at all). We were sitting at a table waiting for our order when my son saw an employee walking to the takeout counter with a burger in her hand (which she wrapped at the counter). Turns out it was my burger. We ordered two orders of cheese curds and there was only one in the bag. Our fries were cold and hard, not tasty. They were out of medium cups and gave us one small cup each for our medium order. This was our third visit since they opened and by far the worse experience.
We went five days after opening day and it was amazing. The staff, manager were great and very friendly. The food was good and tasty. Overall it was a great experience, that's why we returned. Sad that in a weeks time it changed so drastically. I hope they are able to turn it around because our meal...
