I live out of town and I'm staying in the SpringHill Suites about a mile up the road from this location. Today, after I finished up at my job I decided to stop here for a quick bite to eat before I get settled for the afternoon. There is a small gap between a neighboring business and a wall of shrubbery that connects this to a road nearby. I pull into the location and notice two women walking up the path pointing at the ground, walking, pointing, walking (very slowly)
I get closer to the women and wait for them to clear the way I'm supposed to drive to get into the location and they stop, see me, and gesture for me to go around them. I don't think much of it so I go around and find a parking spot. On the way in I notice that there are footprints coming from the "Thank you!" (or whatever it says) painted at the end of the drive through line on the concrete. Looks like they are putting down new paint. I think little of it and go inside.
I order my food at one of the touch screen kiosks, swipe my card, get my table number, and take a seat in front of a man using his table as an office after eating his food.
While I'm waiting for my food I see a man carrying in some HP boxes (I work for a technology company so it caught my eye, and I was curious.) After all, I'm waiting close to 20 minutes for a QP and a mcFlurry. It was a good way to pass the time. I notice that the man is in what looks like standard black McDonalds employee pants, but is wearing a shirt that says "Party Animal" with a picture of Snoopy from The Peanuts. I thought it was weird, but figured "I'm at McDonalds, what did I expect?"
My food comes along, and the employee is talking to another group of customers. I guess she knows them, doesn't make eye contact, and while still half-turned slides my tray on the table at the opposite corner from where I'm sitting. I thought it was rude, but figured "I'm at McDonalds, what did I expect?"
None of these things were really worth posting a negative review, because it's McDonalds so what do you expect. But the reason I'm here is because when I'm finishing off my McFlurry one of the women that stopped in front of me outside walks behind me and talks to the man using his table as an office.
Quotes used in this are paraphrasing She says "I see you have a lot of receipts from here, are you looking to dispute a charge?"
He says "No I just keep all of my receipts, it makes it easier to budget my money, and I come here everyday"
"I know you do, and that's what I want to talk to you about. We have some important people coming tomorrow and I want to ask you to not come in and set up on the table tomorrow. You're welcome to come get some coffee or enjoy our free wifi for 15-20 minutes, but I don't want you to set up on the table like this"
He says very politely "Okay, that's no problem, and I don't want to compare myself to other people, but your store attracts a lot of homeless people, and I feel like I'm behaving myself much better than most of your customers"
and the older lady essentially tells the man that while he doesn't make a disturbance he is a loiterer, even though he bought food and coffee for while he's walking.
Basically what I got from this interaction what that the woman that was there was some sort of regional manager, over the store manager, and that her bosses were coming by the next day to see a store that this woman was partially responsible for up-keeping, but was doing a terrible job. And part of her solution was to come and harass this nice, loyal, DAILY customer.
I hope these "super important" McDonalds employees see this review. Whatever you're walking into tomorrow is a façade, and the local community that is happy to support your location even though it is obviously not held up to the standard you are coming to check on are being run off the day before you get there because the white haired woman feels like she is more important than the people eating there.

Read moreHIT OR BIG MISS at this place. I’ve had several encounters where members asked “what do you want,” “that’s it?” Or simply just give attitude. I’m sorry if you had a bad day or simply do not want to work there but don’t take it out on customers by being rude/short/snobby. Went there today to grab something to eat. The drive-thru line was pretty long so I was like “alright let me try the mobile pick-up.” I placed my order and was waiting for about 30 minutes in the pick-up spot. Was kinda skeptical due to the unusual time frame as it has only taken 10mins at most in the past. There was no drive-thru line anymore either and I was curious as to what was going on so I went inside to check in. Politely waited to be able to speak to someone, employees saw me or other customers and failed to acknowledge us. Simply just kept finding other/ or new tasks to do instead of helping or at least communicating with the customers in the lobby. I spoke with 2 different men who did not help at all, one just nodding that he would assist me and then avoiding me after I asked for help, and the other, talking to me rudely and telling me he never received a ticket and that I was going to have to wait. I said no worries, he asked what I ordered, I told him and also tried to show him my phone as the order, confirmation, and charge was on it, and he didn’t care to look, just told me again that he never received it and im going to have to wait awhile. I don’t mind waiting at all despite being there for more than half an hour trying to pick something up. It was the tone in his voice and look he gave me as he simply didn’t want to have human decency to communicate with me or address my concerns. He also did not move with any sense of urgency to get tasks done. New orders kept coming in and he would pick up new receipts and assemble the orders in the bags instead of assisting me or letting me know hey we’re working to resolve that for you next as you placed your order FOREVER ago. It felt like he was just hoping I’d leave. I still waited there and then this helpful lady came by and noticed I was still standing there awhile, unassisted. She asked what was going on and I informed her. The second rude guy tried to chime in say he told me it was going to be awhile and she continued to help me right away, listening to what I was saying, addressing my concerns, and even looking at my phone for proof I purchased my meal and the rest of the context. I was really grateful for her and wished that the rest of the staff was communicative, polite, and helpful. On top of that all, the place smelt like feces really bad. Someone please come check on this place and help this store get...
Read moreThe lack of communication here is astounding and how rude the guy at the window was just now. He told me they only had two of something I ordered no big deal it is what it is and I said okay that’s fine and he offered no alternative not I’m taking two of whatever you ordered off etc and then just walked off. Then got mad that I was still sitting at the window when he got back he didn’t give me a receipt didn’t give me an alternative nothing. And then when I go to get my food I was like am I gonna get a receipt what are we doing about the item you’re out of they had no idea what was even going on and I had to pull up and wait for my receipt. When the original window worker brought me my receipt I said thank you he was rude and condescending and continued to talk poorly about me on his walk inside as if asking for a RECEIPT was the end of the world. I walked into talk to a manager where this same worker sat there and stared me down before walking into the back. For someone who works in customer service it is absolutely disgusting that this BOY thought his behavior was appropriate and justified when I was given no direction and not the usual service I am given. If this boy had just done his job there would’ve been ZERO need for any frustration but instead he wandered off. I sincerely hope the manager I talked to handles this kid because he is absolutely a horrible employee and not in a million years someone I would want on my team interacting with...
