My boyfriend and I are here on vacation for the week. We placed an online order and scheduled for it to be delivered on 09/10/24 at 8:15. We did a simple order of a pepperoni pizza and an order of 24 wings. I COULD NOT recommend this place LESS. My boyfriend went and waited in the lobby around 8:15 to help the delivery driver not have to search for us. He ended up calling them at 8:30 to get an update as our pizza still had not been delivered. The man he spoke to on the phone stated that it should be on its way and we were just waiting on the driver. Around 8:50 he called yet again to get an update. They said they were going to check with the driver and placed my boyfriend on hold. He waited for probably over 5 minutes on hold. A different person picked up the phone and was stating that the order never got printed and had not been made yet. At this point I got on the phone and was speaking with a woman who stated she was "just the cashier" and had no control but she was attempting to get it fixed. I address it with her that we had been told more than once that the pizza was on the way and now we are being told it had not even been made. At this point it was AFTER they closed. I requested to speak with a manger because at this point it felt like we were being lied to. She told me that there WAS NO MANAGER ON DUTY. She said she would personally be delivering the pizza and that it was coming out of the oven. Around 9:30 the pizza was delivered. I spoke with the driver who stated she had seen the ticket for our order on her side and had asked the people in the store for the order MULTIPLE TIMES to which they just kept telling her that the ticket wasn't printing on their side and she saw NO attempt on their side to get it figured out. She then informed me that THE MANAGER WAS AT THE STORE BUT DOES WHATEVER HE CAN TO NOT DEAL WITH CUSTOMERS. The driver was very polite and apologized for our experience. We did get almost an immediate refund for our order but to me this needs to be addressed. My hope is for this review to help other people see the service this store has for their customers and hopefully for the owner to reevaluate the staff they have. There are several people ahead of us in line so no choice of trying to decide what we want until we get to the front of the line. But there's plenty of religious quotes screwed into the walls to look at. So many signs (several dozen on all the walls) about praying and Jesus, it's disturbing. One or two would have been fine. There were over 30. For a moment I wasn't sure if we'd walked into a pizza store or were interrupting someone's church service. So we order the pizza then step outside to wait since the small lobby is pretty full. Twenty minutes later, one of the cooks comes out of the kitchen calling our party's name. Turns out they were out of ham and couldn't make our pizza. So we've now been at this restaurant for half an hour and are just now being informed they can't complete our order. We paid when the order was placed and didn't want the hassle of dealing with credit card refunds so we order a basic sausage and olive so we can just get out of there. When the pizza finally arrives it is tiny. We ordered a medium and it is the size of a small from any other pizza place I've ever been to. Fifty minutes and thirty bucks for one dinky little pizza. Never going back here again, awful service at awful prices, wish we'd just gone to McDonald's. Would have been a lot faster and less creepy. When the order didn’t show up on time, I waited a bit and called. The person on the phone sounded irritated that I even dared to ask where my food was, but assured me it was “on the way.” Spoiler: it wasn’t.
Fifteen minutes later — still nothing. I called again and was told it would be five more minutes. As I write this, we’re now approaching an hour late and nearly 45 minutes since I was first told it was en route. Still no food. After sitting 50 minutes watched a driver circle our place. Still no pizza.
Called again and was told it would be here. I asked to cancel the order. It was cancelled and then the driver called and said she was on the way. Said the pizza had been in a warmer for 45mins. Told driver it was cancelled / refunded so never got the pizzas. Sucks when you have young kids wanting pizza and did not order from anywhere else while waiting on this place and now everything is closing.
Delays happen — I get that. But being lied to, brushed off, and treated like an inconvenience is completely unacceptable. Save yourself the headache and skip this place. The pizza isn’t worth the price or...
