Our server/ the person working the front who took our order was lively and had great energy. Unfortunately, that is where the praise ends. After the entire rest of my table was served, my dish was nowhere to be seen. After being told it would arrive promptly, we watched as a plethora of dishes were brought out to a table with no diners, and a photographer began taking pictures of the food, seemingly for some sort of promotional content. Mind you, this is after we had already walked back to the front to ask our server about the status of our final dish for the table. Finally, when my dish did arrive, the manager greeted me with a joke that the fish I had ordered "did not want to be caught." I was disgusted by the lack of empathy and the absence of a sincere apology given the fact that my entire table had finished their meal and I was only just receiving my food. Upon voicing my concern, I was given a poor excuse that there was only one person working in the kitchen. While this may have been a reasonable excuse under normal circumstances, I had just watched numerous dishes be served to a camera lens while I sat hungrily as the rest of my table ate their meals. In the end, the dish itself was unimpressive and bland. Thankfully, the manager comped my meal, but only after I had to stop her as she tried to walk away from our table, clearly not intending to offer any sort of remedial service. I was incredibly disappointed with my experience and am sad to say I will not be returning to, nor recommending,...

My husband and I came here for what we thought would be a nice dinner. It felt like we sat in an area that for the waitress we were “out of site out of mind.” Other than bringing us the menu, taking our order and bringing us food, she did not come by once. We had to flag Gabi (waitress) down to bring us cutlery (after our food already came, I guess I was meant to eat my steak with my hands?), and water. She did not check to see if our food was good or if we needed anything after food came. Food was decent, minus the fact that my husband nearly broke his tooth on a chicken wing which was put in the chicken slider. We weren’t sure if this was normal for the restaurant, as we had never eaten here. But typically no, there are not supposed to be wings WITH THE BONE in a slider sandwich. Gabi said it would be compensated, which is the least they could do considering my husband may require dental work after eating here. Then the bill came and the waitress was very “smart” about the wording and said she comped the “other sliders”. Which she took before my husband could finish his last one… I assume it was to avoid us taking photos of the chicken bones in it. But she charged us for the replacement. Typically restaurant that majorly mess up to the point where it’s a liability issue, your meal gets comped.

If you decide to eat here, I would check your food first, just to make sure you don’t choke on anything that’s not supposed to be there or potentially...

Lack of an adult in the room would be my title. Summary: When food didn't come, no adult came to apologize. They were having us pay before bringing a box for someone who got their food. Not the usual, we took off the food that didn't come, sorry someone in your party didn't eat. Nothing. Just pay.

TL DR We sat next to, but not at the bar next to other patrons. There was only 1 server with 2 tables when we walked into the restaurant and a bartender with 2 people. We ordered our food and watched others come into the restaurant and sit at the bar, get drinks and even order more in the time I received my first drink. Food came out for 2 of the 3 guests. The server said give me a second. No problem we thought. It has happened to everyone. Then we watched 3 people that came in after we ordered get their food. After the 2 ate their food and 1 still hadn't we canceled the remaining food order. Approximately 10 min went by before someone from the restaurant came to our table again. That was just to get us to pay. We asked for a box for food that they didn't finish. She (not the server, maybe manager? She didn't introduce herself) went back to get the box. This lady said, this is your total. Nothing like, "we apologize for this and not getting your food. We have taken it off the bill". It was literally, hand me the pay deck. I asked to see if the missing food was on the bill, it was not. I paid the bill, but will not...

Happy Fish has a fun, inviting vibe that immediately draws you in. The food is genuinely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and packed with personality. Just a tip: taste the sauces before you dive in, as some might not be what you expect. Where the experience unfortunately falls short is the service. Despite the restaurant being nearly empty—with only one other table seated—service was painfully slow. We had to go looking for our server just to get a refill, only to find them standing around in the back. When we brought up that the ranch was expired and suggested they let the kitchen know, the response was baffling: *"I don't know, I don't eat the sauce or anything here."* That pretty much set the tone for the rest of the visit. Once your food hits the table, don’t count on any follow-up—if you need anything, you're better off getting it yourself. On a brighter note, their happy hour is worth checking out—great deals and a more energetic vibe if you stick to the bar. Skip the table service and head straight to the bar for the best experience.

This place was so much fun. Went on a Wednesday and it was packed, I was surprised for it being mid week. They were having Binglow and I had the best time. The host Sonia had the best personality. They had late night happy hour too which is always a plus. I got some happy hour drinks and the ono tacos. Let me tell you, Ono tacos are sooo ono. Definitely recommend them. Joe was the Bartender and he made this well crafted drink that had mezcal, just forgot the name. Came back for him lol Other bartender was Justin. Great service, already recommend to friends!

Hidden gem! I was hesitant to go based on the negative reviews here about service, but everyone was friendly, kind and helpful! The happy hour is great and affordable. It’s a counter service place. And you order alcoholic beverages directly from the bar. Really nice decor, modern, clean, spacious and the outdoor seating is cool and shaded. The fish tacos were tasty and burger was good. The fries were super tasty. The mai tai was great! And I love that they have a fountain soda machine. A chill spot, with easy parking.
