The service here used to be great but in the past 2 years it's been terrible.
I'm not even half way through my meal and the waitress gives me my bill making me feel rushed after that I have to flag her down for refills at one point finally I give up and get tired of flagging her down and I wait for her to pay attention to the fact I need refills then she glowers at me with her arms crossed impatiently and finally comes to me telling me there is a 2 hour table limit (with empty tables around us still) asks me what I need very rude and hostile congratulations you cheated your self out of a $10 tip after I was done I didn't want to tip at all because she made it hard to enjoy my meal.
By the way I chose to eat out because I found out my dad died last night and needed to take my mind off it so thanks for treating me like a nuisance while I am grieving and paying for food. If you had payed attention to me needing drink refills I wouldn't of been there that long most of my time was spent flagging you down for refills
Owners response doesn't help the situation if there really is a 2 hour table limit when there are empty tables around I only eat out when I need to get away from something troubling me with a 2 hour table limit I'm better off grilling a meal at the park so I can be lost in my thoughts without being rushed through my meal
I'm not going to give this place another chance I don't want to encounter that waitress again and it's impossible to forget being treated like lower than dirt while grieving and trying not to cry instead of taking my mind off my dads death her hostility made me think about it even more I cried when I finally got time to my self while he was abusive he was still my dad and while I sat at her table and tried to find good memories of him her actions helped me remember all the bad ones and made me wonder about my worth she chose a very bad time to treat someone like dirt it was perfect timing it brought back a flood of past memories I thought I forgot that should of...
Read moreWe have been going to Pops for breakfast for years, service has always been great, smiles and positive attitudes (even thru Covid). However this morning was total chaos! The person whom seemed to be in charge was leading and or causing it. Food was slow coming out, as not all orders were getting put in the computer, tickets couldn’t be found, servers frustrated and venting to one another. The person in charge would do something wrong and laugh an say “I don’t do this where’s Kelly.” Food came out and tickets couldn’t be located to know where it went . Biscuits Ran out so there was a wait on biscuits. We heard the server call out the count on biscuit’s at least 3 times. Then they started saying they were waiting on biscuits, needing biscuits etc.. people actually approached the counter to get their biscuits and drink refilled. After food was delivered customers were forgotten no one checked on you, no refills as they were concentrating on To Go orders, which people were waiting on. Ladies and Gentlemen this is not The normal as I said before and it should never happen again. Today when it’s hard to find people to work things need to run smoothly for all, keep the Chaos creator out of supervisor/ manager position. It’s not good for the restaurant, staff or customers, anyone. It was extremely distracting and things being said that customers really shouldn’t be hearing. And trust me you could not help but hear it. Also it was busy we we have been there when it was a lot busier. If it was your first time there try it again and hopefully you’ll have a better experience. The food is always very good, comes out in a timely manner and the...
Read moreStopped in here today after my daughters cheer competition. We walked pretty much right in and got to be seated. Waitress was nice and friendly and the food was pretty good. My biggest issue was with the crazy little ways they want to charge you for thing. Apparently certain plates only come with crinkle cut fries or fresh cut fries. The waitress did let us no they would be a up charge so we changed our order to where we wouldn’t be (which didn’t change a thing just who got the crinkle cut and fresh cut fries/ it was literally switching a burger from one plate to another) the waitress did make it sound like that was fine and no issue because it was actually right. When she brought the bill out she did apologize and said the chef on duty would not let her change the price which blew my mind! I mean it was only a little over 2 bucks, but to me it was the principal. I did let her no the chef was an idiot! It’s the dumb little things like this that is causing people to really just despise going out to eat now days. It seems like no matter where you go they just want to get a extra few bucks out of you. I asked if the owner was in, but was told only the chef was. We paid and left. Will...
