Frosty Dog Cafe — Restaurant in Hilton Head Island

My family came in yesterday. It was absolutely the worst. My mom's food was literally the leftover pieces of what was remaining in the bag, not the 5 piece she ordered. There were NO chicken tenders in her basket. Too hard to even eat, the little boy employee tried squeezing a piece & couldn't break it apart. My burger was nasty, I couldn't eat it. It was gooey....nasty. Quality was nonexistent. When we ordered our food the girl ringing us up told the boy about the quesadilla to make & he said he didn't feel like making it so she then said to my mom that she'd make it, it was made with onions when we asked for chicken & cheese only. The "20 yr old" girl got irritated that we asked for it to be made without onions even though that's how we ordered it. It came back greasy, terribly greasy. We all work several hrs per day/week. Shouldn't be an excuse to do poorly. No one else was there for the entirety of our food making process, no one! Can't blame your lack of quality on a busy atmosphere. When the owner replied he was full of excuses. As with every other bad review. With the amount you're charging for the food you can surely afford to hire more help. And why let us order chicken tenders if you were out like you stated? No refunds is listed on the receipt....no wonder! $100 to fill up our tank, sir? Sure will pay it & be glad to as we are able to get use out of it. $77 for what you're calling "delicious".... not worth it! If it was delicious we wouldn't be complaining! We sure as heck wouldn't have left our inedible food sitting there & left. Do we really wonder why these kids act as they do? Look at the owners response to every negative review. These 5 star reviews have GOT TO BE made up accounts. Trust the negative reviews, y'all. Coming from the owner of the establishment you should ensure that the people tending to your customers aren't acting like they're irritated even being there & would rather be doing anything else. If my mom could leave less than a one star review, she sure would! Is the "great lunch or dinner experience" you're offering to provide going to cost us another $77??? You're very condescending to your customers. We all understand inflation....so long as it is worth what you're paying for. You're not getting what you pay for here. They don't list prices bc people would back out if they saw it but once you order you then feel obligated to follow through. Prices should be listed, regardless. Your lack of compassion says alot about your establishment. Where is Chef Ramsey when...

Would not recommend. First, there are no prices posted. No combos. Fries are an extra $3 😳 My kids & I ordered food, it was $77 for incredibly basic foods. Their soda machine was messed up & they agreed the drink looked like water instead of the drink we chose. An order of 5 chicken tenders ended up to be several bits of chicken bc it's "what they had left". They were incredibly hard & inedible. My daughter's quesadilla was ordered with chicken & cheese only. They brought it with these long onions in it, too. Well, I reminded them that she doesn't eat onions & was told that it comes with onions. I then reminded them that it was ordered with cheese & chicken only! They were irritated about that & took it to correct it. My sons burger was not done & he is known for eating anything & everything. He couldn't eat but a couple bites & wouldn't eat more. My daughter's quesadilla came back greasy as could be, kinda felt it was intentional but she tried it anyways. She used napkins to hold it & they were nasty with grease residue. Nasty! The little boy that came to ask about our food, I showed him my chicken & said I couldn't eat it....he grabbed a piece & tried squeezing it with his fingers...hard! He put it back down & went to talk to the girl about it. Everybody could hear her upset saying that that's how they're cooked. He came back & told us that that was all they had so I asked him just to throw it away. There were NO adults behind the counter. Super irritated that we spent $77 & it was just awful, terrible! Left our food there & had to leave. No apologies, no refund, no remakes, nothing! No full bellies! We were so excited to try this place bc it's so close to where we're staying but omg, huge waste of money & time. They didn't care bc they got our money, why would kids be concerned with cooking food properly & making sure u have the correct food before giving us the last of what was in the bag??? Not an adult in sight. None! THAT should have been our first sign. Incredibly...

we stopped by to grab something to eat after coming back from the beach, and we’re very disappointed. upon arrival we browsed their menu and no prices were listed. they are also false advertising that they had frozen yogurt when there was none. we ordered and they did not tell me my total before swiping my card, and i realized we spent over $30 on 2, 3 piece tenders. the food looked store bought and definitely way too overpriced for what we got. they employees were rude for the majority of our visit, one being on the phone having a loud conversation the entire time we were trying to order. we asked for sauces with our tenders and they were only filled about less then a third of the way, when asking for more she proceeded to only bring me one filled the same way. a young boy, who honestly doesn’t seem to be anywhere near old enough to be working, repeatedly asked what we’re were ordering when we told him about a dozen times already. the ice cream also tasted freezer burnt, and the mozzarella sticks were rock solid. overall the employees seemed to know very little about what they were doing, and didn’t pay very much attention. overall a poor experience and not worth the money that i spent. also going through other reviews it seems that the owner doesn’t care much for customer concern and only wants to defend the poor service being given. he complains about his short staff but we were the only people in there and the worker asked if we needed anything, we told her we needed more honey mustard, and she never brought us any. we also witnessed him grabbing trash out of an overflowing trash can with his bare hands, no gloves or anything. we also did not see anyone behind the counter wearing gloves while preparing our food. i definitely don’t recommend eating here and giving them one star is...
