I would not recommend getting pizza from here. The service was awful and so was the food. The gentleman working the counter seemed very inebriated and didn't seem to know what was going on. I ordered a slice of ham and pineapple from a pizza that was already made and was sitting in the display case. There were two orders ahead of me, but they had ordered full pizzas. I stood there waiting for my order for at least 20 minutes. In the time I was waiting for my order, he messed up quite a few other orders. A gentleman two orders behind me ordered two slices of pepperoni. Before getting my order or the order directly after me ready, the employee got his two slices ready and called his name. When he didn't come right away for his order, the employee took another order. He got this order ready as she was standing there and paying. The gentleman he called for came for his order. The employee tried to give him the lady's order he was helping, but those of us standing in line stopped him. The lady paying for the order he tried giving away was thankful we stopped him. He also kept calling a name for a pizza that became ready for pickup. When they didn't show up, he ended up giving the pizza to some ladies that had ordered before me. We don't know if it was really their pizza or the person he was calling for, but they took it because they also had been waiting a really long time. When he finally acknowledged I was still standing there, he couldn't even remember what I ordered. Once I got my pizza, I was very disappointed in the quality and taste. The pizza itself was very salty. The ham was very smokey and salty which made it really hard to eat. I didn't even end up eating half of the slice. For $10/slice I expected a lot better. I should have read the reviews before going here....
Read moreI give reviews based on service and food quality and was quite disappointed by the pizza here. First off, the service was excellent, both people behind the counter were very friendly and courteous and very welcoming.
The pizza however was horrible and in my opinion, non edible. The crust seems to be premade as it has no taste at all. When we got the pizza, it looked so scrumptious and could not wait to dive in.
The first bite, I thought the dough was still raw, but it turned out the cheese was not mozzarella but some other type of cheese. It’s very slimy, like goat cheese. The crust was undercooked, the ham was cold and it was just a horrible mess. What pizza place does not use mozzarella on pizza, isn’t that like pizza 101?
May friend and I both ate a slice each from the large pizza and then tossed the rest in the trash. $58 for a large pizza with 4 toppings, and 2 sodas. If the pizza was good, I would not have an issue with the price, this is Hawaii. so I get it.
I can’t recommend the pizza, maybe the pasta is better, but would recommend you maybe try one of the other stands inside the food hall instead. Atmosphere here is good and they do have live music, not sure if that is...
Read moreI never write reviews, but felt like it was my civic duty to warn potential customers about this pizza. I love pizza.. even bad frozen pizza I can choke down and somewhat enjoy, but this was inedible and my girlfriend and I couldn’t stomach it and threw it away. Never in my life have I tasted such a revolting, rotting-like, putrid “pizza”. Do yourself a favor and order Papa John’s or a frozen pie… any option besides this place will be a very wise decision. I have no idea how they get away with selling this detritus labeled as pizza. I wish I had more hands so I could give it four...
