La Piña Cantina has QR codes posted on every table that have their menu on it. However, the prices on those menus are much different from their “New ones” that had just, “Went up by $3” a couple of days ago. When I showed the staff the pricing they had listed on their virtual menus (that they provided), they did nothing to compensate or honor the pricing. Instead, they had a manager (Misty) come out to talk to me. She was very rude and put a menu in my face to show me that the pricing on their website was wrong. Again, I got the pricing from the QR codes and those are provided by them and on every table! I even showed misty that when I scan the QR code, the menu came up with pricing that was less than what they were charging me. She just told me, “Fine, I’ll have all of those removed” and then walked away with my receipt. I was highly disappointed with my experience and there’s no doubt that I will never come back.

TERRIBLE PLACE TO EAT! Ordered the chicken tacos and chicken burrito to find out the chicken was not cooked at all leaving myself and 2 others with salmonella for 48hrs. We were bed ridden for 48hrs and was vomiting stomach acid up over a restaurant that advertises most of their food with chicken and they can not cook it properly. Went in a few days later to talk to the supervisor when I was turned away saying he couldn’t do a refund and that’s how the chefs are to cook their chicken. Disgusting service from a restaurant that gave us a sickness that is quite deadly and doesn’t have the decency to give a refund for what they did. Chefs should be taught how to cook CHICKEN properly as there were 10+ people eating chicken there at the same time. Lack of service and responsibility to its customers.

It was bad. Very bad. The chips and queso were very sad. The chips were obviously pulled out of a plastic bag, and the queso most likely came from A can. Flavorless and no texture whatsoever. The tacos we ordered were without texture and flavor also. Planting corn tortillas and meet that, I’ll guess, came out of a plastic bag. The one saving grace was when we interacted with the staff. Everybody who worked there was happy, and very helpful. It’s too bad they are forced to serve such poor quality food. Honestly, everything about this place was depressing. We should have known when we walked in. We took a chance, and we failed. I guess you can’t win them all.

Went for dinner today about 9:00pm local time August 1, 2022, and an Asian lady charged me 50 cents for an extra hot sauce, and when I gave her a dollar bill, she rang the register then she said it is 1 dollar and 5 cents. I asked why is it a dollar now. Then, she said that she just raised the price. This was absolutely a dirty cheap experience such that I would never go to this place ever again. This gives me a doubt on everything else they may put in their food. It is not all about the money. I went to their next door food place, and they gave me an extra hot sauce right away free of charge and was very friendly, no questions asked. La Pina Cantina's food is not worth a single cent plus its customer service is worst that I have ever experienced right at the cash register. So, please watch out and visit at your own risk. My gosh, the cash register lady was so dirt cheap and offensive. This place is located at 2330 Kalakaua Ave, Ste 156, Honolulu, HI 96815 in Waikiki inside the Food Hall of the International...

When they opened on March it felt that the manager was very involved with the food taste, service and drinks. We raved about this place since the 1st day we went. We went once per week, while we were staying wakiki when we moved here. Also, it was always the spot for drinks and a good time. We went back this week, and this place went down hill. The salsa tasted like tomatoe sauce, they tried to substitute it for their orange salsa, which was way too hot to eat with chips. Our food came out cold, with no flavor. We asked the server if we could talk to the manager and state our concerns about how poorly the food quality was and the flavor. The manager told the server she was too busy to come out and speak with us. I told the server I felt sorry she works for someone like that. The lack of leadership and customer service was no longer there because the place went through changes with management. I would fire the manager and make hard decisions to make changes before it closes. But we would not go back...

The food/tacos are amazing love the way the place looks and the atmosphere was there on vacation and ate there 4 times while there but one thing I didn’t like was when I was there I heard a women yelling at one of them employees telling him to worry about his section me as a customer I shouldn’t have been hearing that let alone someone yelling at another person while out in the open the gentleman she was yelling at was the person who brought me my food and had been the person bringing me food the times I was there and had helped me out a lot and a very nice person and didn’t have any problem getting things for me when I asked as I said the food and the place are amazing and I would go there again if I lived there I would eat there everyday with all the choices of food they have I just feel that as a customer I should not have seen this women yelling at this general me in the open at all and I will say that the gentleman kept his calm as the lady...
