Don't chance it, read my review! He uses gloves, but touches everything with it including the money you give him!!! What's the point of gloves!

Guess what I got Salmonella food poisoning that night!!! I should have cancelled the order when he didn't change gloves after touching money!

Ok so I read the reviews and a friend tried it and everyone said was good but, me and my boy have eaten Mexican food from Mexico, L.A., Beaumont, Texas, San Diego, Vegas and everywhere on oahu including Maria Bonita's, taco truck Hawaii and many other restaurants. Mayitas is probably the worst we have had, he had the carnitas and chicken tacos, I had the chicken quesadilla. His tacos was not good according to him and my quesadillas was very shiny like to much oil or butter and just a single flavor, couldn't taste the cheese or meat. He was a nice guy though!

Update to his reply: the last toilet I was at was a food trailer! 🧐 I watched u touch the money and not change your gloves!!! I always wash my hands or use a sanitizer. Don't make No excuses sir, be mature and learn to be...

When I first tried this place I thought it was absolutely amazing, tastes like Mexico. A couple more times it was stil awesome. But then a couple times it wasn't, and that lack of consistency is very annoying, esp. when you go with friends and tell them how amazing it is. Also I read the reviews about people getting sick and I'm not too surprised. The old guy running the tiny truck is super nice, but.. it's a tiny truck the size of a gas station bathroom, and he's just one guy doing everything, of course he touches the money and then the food! To be honest I doubt this place ,we were looking for a taco Wagon so this place came out with good reviews ,but when we drove here ,it was a very very small Taco wagon ,so we drove away, but we couldn't find any other taco wagon open that day, so we came back ,it was the best decision I made that day, tacos were so good, the guys molcajete salsa was very good and tasty ,so I have to apologize to the owner and enjoy the delicious tacos he prepared to me and my family, so don't judge the taco wagon for its size, judge the taco wagon for its tacos ,and this guy...
