Mmmm the Tom Kha soup š„° This was the dish that blew my mind when I tried Thai for the first time. Brian Thai Laos food truck has a Tom Kha that totally took me back and tasted exactly how I was hoping for. This is a must have for me when having Thai, even in the ridiculously hot summers here. If I feel bad, this is a bowl of āmmm donāt talk to me Iām having a momentā kinda soup. Heaven. I decided to try the Tom Yum soup today (completely different) and wow. It was delicious too. This had more of a thinner broth, no coconut milk, and a good emphasis on lemon grass. Delicious. Also had to try the papaya salad and omg! Another winner. This is a very refreshing salad, and thereās a good amount that I was able to share. For a delicious, refreshing drink get the hibiscus tea. Itās iced and I actually added water to the ice when I got home because I wanted it to last longer it was that good š If craving a delicious unique soup and light, refreshing salad, I recommend the Tom Kha, papaya salad, and the pad Thai for a shareable noodle dish. This is a great truck to visit. Also the drunken noodles were good fresh- not the next day. Iāve had better Pad Thai but still really good...

Was a good 30 min or more to get the food, again ... no other customers there, strike 2 . The food was .... hot .... that's the only good thing I can say about it... it had none of the thai flavors we expected ... and we eat A LOT of Thai food. Strike 3 . I ordered fried rice with chicken and it had maybe 3 or 4 tiny pieces of chicken. The rice was way over done to the point of being mushy. My husband ordered the basil entree with shrimp ... what he got was a peppers and onions and a scavenger hunt for shrimp ... there were 2 ... two shrimp in the whole meal . 4th and final strike ! If I could give this place...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHad hopes. Ordered and waited 35 minutes for that which any professional Thai cook could whip out in 5 minutes. The wait was not worth it. Basic Pad Thai was just dreary, so ordinary, we had to search to find a few tiny pieces of chicken in a sauce that tasted like to was out of a bottle. Yuk. Ill-prepared. The spring rolls, fresh rolls, were good. But I have seen Thai chefs whip out spring rolls in two minutes. This half-hour wait for food-truck stuff is ridiculous. This experience was not good. We have had outrageously wonderful Thai food in many different cities....
