If you want an authentic Mexican food restaurant, this is it. I ate here yesterday and they had the kind of meat I really enjoy and what meat is that? It's El Pastor cook correctly. I was almost not able to finish the burrito, if portion size is your thing then this restaurant has you covered. This restaurant is nestled in the back of a grocery store. If that doesn't bring up good and happy smiles I don't know what will. Tonight I had Tortas filled with milanes meet avocado onion and cheese also carrots and finally jalapenos, this meal was a challenge for me. For lunch today I had Mexican food down the street in the downtown district and to be honest I was not happy. This restaurant not only is less expensive but more authentic. Last thing I'd like to add is there a horchata is made in house. While I was sitting there countless tables were commenting how well and how much they liked the food there. I'm surprised more people don't leave reviews. The people that live in this area is lucky to have them. Don't try to bring an RV through the parking lot there's not enough room. Don't bring an auto with a...
Read moreUnique little spot in the back of a grocery store. Great service, nice atmosphere. Actual menus, servers, chips and salsa. Unfortunately, the food was just…bland. Chicken fajitas were plain, dry and had definitly not been marinated or spiced with anything, but there was alot of it. I ordered fajita steak quesadillas to go at the same time ordered my food. (Wouldn't have had I known). More of the same: dry unmarinated meat, a sprinkling of cheese that wasn't even melted by the time I made it home, no onions or peppers. Both came with a chunk of iceberg, and a couple slices of mealy tomato. No pico. No sour cream. No cheese. And everything was between $2-$5 more than the menu pictured on their site. I was starving when I went, ate a little bit but couldn even finish a third of the fajitas. I went up the street to a fastfood joint and got a burger, and gave the food to my roomy. This is the first time I have ever had bland...
Read moreI submitted a review before probably wasn't approved. The grocery store has a restaurant in the back. We ordered popusas, tacos, and huarache. The food is okay. There is nothing extraordinary, delicious. The waitress/cashier was very nice to us. Service was fast, and the size of the dishes was good enough. Someone ordered Dashdoor food and arrived while we were there. The food they ordered a day already paid wasn't ready, and the driver was getting upset for being waiting for so long. The manager mistread the lady who was only trying to do her living. Why did they sign up for Doordash if they do not know how that works? Who knows, other than that was good. I'm a second chance person, so we probably will return if needed. Let me mention it is scary to see the santa muerte figure at the entrance of the store. They do have many religious figures everywhere, so don't forget to pray for your...
