Mama Vee's Southern Homestyle Cuisine — Restaurant in Hot Springs

We were visiting from CT and I am honestly just so grateful to have had the opportunity to try this place. We tried calling at 7 and they told us they couldn’t take any orders at the moment and we should call back in 30 minutes. We called right at 7:30 and they literally remembered our voice on the phone. Amazing service, holy cow. The people who run this food truck are honestly just some of the best people I’ve ever met. Just so sweet and genuinely make every customer feel like family. We had some trouble finding them and despite being closed they waited for us to pick up our order. I can’t say enough amazing things about the people who work here. As for food, THE PORK CHOP IS OUT OF THIS WORLD. Ate it to the bone with their awesome Mac and cheese. Also, the BREAD PUDDING is literally the best bread pudding I’ve ever had in my LIFE. I promise you, No joke. Boyfriend had the spaghetti, which they recommended, and I couldn’t stop stealing bites!! Definitely the two must haves. I was with a group of 9. We were surprised to find 4 outdoor food trucks. Then once we navigated the gravel (one of our party is in a wheelchair) we were thrilled. Most everyone ordered at Momma's. They were pleased with the size of the service g and the flavor of their various dishes. I have friends in India but have not had the opportunity to taste the food. They were sold out of Mt first choice. Instead I got a chicken Samoa with mint chutney. I was delighted with it. Y'all...I wish I could explain to you this cheeseburger. Definitely the best burger I've had in my almost 5 years living in Hot Springs. The service was super friendly and warm and the burger was 9oz of juicy goodness. I added cheese and got everything on it. The "special sauce" is a sweet and tangy delight that's spread onto a warm toasted brioche bun. Some places brag about large greasy burgers that are just oversalted, but mama Vee's is seasoned to perfection and not slimy and greasy.
