This is the MOST terrible fadi's location - because of the TERRIBLE service. I dread coming here and the only times i do is when its on my way. Starting today i am going to make every effort to not ever come to this location. I go to Fadi's about 2 to 3 times EVERY week and i LOVE the food so much but the service at this location is terrible and the sides and half sides are tiny!!!! The people who work here are scared of their shadows and barely talk to you, barely put food on your plate and barely smile! The first cashier even has no idea whats on the sides for the day - i asked if there were garbanzo beans with avocado and she said NO - so i went with the avocado hummus and then it turns out there is garbanzo beans with avocado!! And the soup is ALWAYS warm or cold and never hot and i have to ask them to reheat it every time. And for some reason the salads are always mushy like they have been sitting there forever. The salads at the westheimer location are so so fresh and so many times i see them making them. So disappointed to be served like this when i am such a loyal customer. I even escalated to the second final cashier and she was all helpless and told me not sure what i can do to help you - instead of saying - thank you for your concerns i will make sure i escalate and i will address your concerns when the general manager is here! And her careless response is what pushed me to make this review. I think there needs to he major changes made at this location - maybe send them to train aT the westheimer location - the BEST location with the best atmosphere and...
Read moreI ordered some food from this restaurant during my lunch break few weeks ago. This is a cafeteria-style restaurant where the food is expected always to be ready within 10-15 minutes max. After almost 1 hour of waiting and asking for the order status many times, the manager in duty mentioned that the order was misplaced because they were very busy and that I will need to wait another 15 minutes until they start to prepare it now (manager did not even have the decency to offer the meal for free for example). I mentioned that I do not want the food any more since I cannot wait more and I asked them for a refund. The manager in duty assured me that they would cancel the charge on my card although they did not swipe the card to provide a void receipt. When I asked the manager to swipe the card and provide a void receipt, she refused saying that this is not necessary and that they can cancel the charge without doing that! After few days I find that I was actually charged the full amount for a meal which I didn't get served. I called the restaurant few times to complain and visited them and talked to the manager and all what they kept saying is that they will look into it and cancel the charge somehow! Well they did not do anything! Finally I called my bank and disputed this charge, unfortunately the bank said there is not much that can be done when it comes to disputing against charges in restaurants since there are always no clear evidence if the food was served or not. In short, Fadi's has ripped off $20 from me and there is no way for me to get...
Read moreMy parents were visiting from out of town during their Spring Break vacation and wanted to eat some delicious food at Fadis. Family was a group of five individuals - my father, mother, youngest brother, wife, and myself. Historically, I’ve taken them to other Fadi locations and were satisfied with service and food. However, this place was extremely rude especially to my parents. A bald, older man brought out a fresh plate of hummus and my mom asked for a side of hummus. He refused to serve her hummus because he wanted to take a picture for social media. My father requested the lamb kabob plate and they brought out beef kabob instead . We notified one of the servers that this is the wrong plate. The “manager” which turned out the be the same bald, older man with the earlier hummus encounter, insisted that was lamb kabob. My dad told him that he was a butcher and knows his meat cuts and maybe someone made a mistake. The “manager” rudely insisted his father was a butcher and he also is aware of his meat cuts and noted that by appearance alone it is lamb. He finally relented and said he would bring back a couple pieces of lamb kabob and he would cook them himself. He brought it back and it was obviously different in appearance and taste. He still refused to acknowledge the difference and never apologized. This is astonishingly subpar service especially from the “manager” of the location. This review is written at the insistence of my parents to educate others and be cautious of what this location claims they deliver. They try to take...
