Stella's Wine Bar is a charming spot perfect for date night or wine enthusiasts. The sommelier impressed us with a recommendation of Anderson Conn Valley wine. It was flavorful and smooth, though it did have a cork issue. The charcuterie board is a must-try! We opted for a large table and were treated to a generous spread. A word to the wise—a large board is too much for just two people! One downside is the lack of parking; valet at the adjacent Four Season hotel is the only option. However, the cozy patio setting made up for it. Despite the Texas heat, it was quite comfortable. And if you're a car aficionado, you're in for a treat. Luxury car shops nearby feature Bentleys and even a $3 million Bugatti! For wine lovers looking to explore beyond the main menu, asking for the complete wine list on your next visit is a good idea. The ambiance and selection make it a place worth returning to.

Went with a friend this past weekend to Stella’s. It’s great. It’s smaller than what I thought it would be and there’s a great patio for cooler weather, not for the summer weather. The staff is so attentive and helpful. They know and understand the varietals available. The charcuterie board is really good and the options are varied. There are also sliders and flatbreads available. I’ll definitely be back.

Love the symposium Saturdays. There used to be street parking but I think they took that aw1ay. Valet isn't too bad but it's always nice to have the option for self-parking that is free. The sommeliers here are awesome. Knowledgeable, friendly, and they always make a good program where I buy at least 1 bottle to go.

The Joy of My Down time! I simply cannot say enough about this wonderful place. Part of me doesn't want to write this review so that I can keep this magic gem to myself. Since the moment I stepped foot in Stella, it has been nothing short of amazing. I've had so many recent pleasant memories here. The wine is fantastic! The Sommeliers are truly top of the line, especially Jeffery. I can listen to him talk about the wines, the regions and notes for hours. The food is also divine; the truffle fries will make you strap yourself to the seat and never leave. If you love a super Tuscan, full bodied red, ask for the Susumaniello and thank me later. What has really done it for me however was my recent experience here.

I planned a surprise party and called Stella to put the plans in motion. Of course, I requested Jeffery because he is literally a gift to oenology. Jeffery sat with me on the phone for an hour going back and forth on the menu, the champagnes we'd select and even some guest dynamics I needed help working through...this man went above and beyond! I let Jeffery know the number of guests, the vibe I wanted, and my budget, we chatted once more about the party and that was it. Well, I was supposed to come in early to help set up and make sure everything was set but I was late. When I arrived, Jeffery had the table set with a beautiful tablecloth (we did not discuss this) a beautiful chalk written sign for the guest of honor, 10 table settings with champagne flutes, florals and candles. It was more than I'd imagined but also exactly what I would have wanted. I literally only had to place the name cards and my other friend, the cookies for each guest, on the table. We literally didn't have to do anything. Jeffery also took us through a lovely tasting of champagne from the champagne region, made sure the charcuterie boards were beautifully designed and greeted the guest of honor herself. I know she was shocked he knew her name. The guest of honor was so overwhelmed and grateful but so was I. Jeffery made me and my fellow planners look like the best friends in the world. I'm glad I have his personal number now in the event he ever decides to leave Stella haha. Love love love love Stella and Jeffery. Thank you all so much for an amazing event and amazing time, each...

What a wonderful experience! I came to try “so you want to be a somm” wine flight and learn as much as possible for the certified exam. Brenda & Eddy nocked it out of the park! They were both so kind, knowledgeable and not to mention patient; I had a lot of questions. Brenda brought out a discontinued CMS deductive tasting workbook and Eddy would walk me through what I was tasting, helped me connect the dots and gave me a lot of key indicators. Tools that many wine schools would charge top dollars for. So thankful for them.

PS: make a reservation or follow them on instagram they have a lot of private events. I came twice before realizing a reservation was necessary.

PSS: there is one hour retail parking in front of Stella’s wine bar that valet will commandeer maybe around 4:30 but I saw plenty of people (patrons and Post Oak employees) driving into the parking lot that had valet only do not...
