Tacodeli — Restaurant in Houston

I ordered from Uber Eats and the delivery time would’ve been about the same if I were to have gone to pick it up myself but I work from home. I was Hoping for a good taco spot close by my home but I’m disappointed. I got ensalada taco deli with chicken and added spinach and refried beans and a side of Mexican rice.

The chicken was cold and the beans were barely just over room temp. I was Expecting both of those to be hot (considering delivery, at least warm) the dressing is an up charge and the protein is an up charge. The spinach is an up charge. Everything had an up charge. The tomatoes that come on the salad were mushy - disgusting. My salad cost me $17.10 with all of the additions (the protein was a required pick). I did Add a note to have the chicken and beans on the side if possible but I guess It’s not an option.

The rice was barely warm too but I’m mad about the TINY portion for $2.10 (uber eats up charge) but the up charge is not THAT much.

This was not worth the $20 I spent On the food.

Perfect place to stop for breakfast tacos and then again for lunch. At least that's my plan tomorrow. Today I did lunch here, but since I have to come back to the office tomorrow, well... We will see what happens. I always top my tacos with the habanero cream salsa. That'll wake you up Today I had my favorite mole taco, along with a brisket el rey taco. Absolutely delicious! I'm a big fan of their mashed potatoes, but today I went with black beans and Spanish rice, another good call. I haven't found anything I don't love yet. If I could eat 3 of their tacos at once, two would always be more, if I didn't live in Tomball, this would be a way more frequent dining...

Great food and great experience. The only thing I’d suggest for take out orders is to place napkins in a customers bag before handing it over. Just seems like napkins would go hand in hand with a take out order. Saves a customer from getting back their car opening is the 1st taco then realizing there are no napkins with food that can get a little messy sometimes. Especially if I’m headed back to work from a quick lunch. Going back into store takes up precious minutes of my 1/2 hour lunch. Not enough of an issue to take a start away on rating.
