Zalat Pizza — Restaurant in Houston

Placed an order on the Zalat app. Pretty straight forward and easy to use. You have options to pick a different cheese, add toppings and create a custom pizza. There is a slice selection option, which is confusing since they seem to only give you one option.

I waited in my car for roughly . They do have a pick up window outside. After 20 minutes, I went inside and my pizza was already done, but the app doesn’t keep real time when your food is ready. Inside the place was pretty messy, and the two employees were friendly and I would say pretty typical of who you would expect to be working at a pizza place.

I live close by within 10 minutes, and the pizza temperature was as expected for a 10 minute drive home. The box contained Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes, it was nice not having to ask for this. I ordered an 18” NY cheese and added Pepperoni and a 14” Zalat Supreme, which I added Jalapeños. M-W you get 50% off a 14” pizza with a purchase of an 18” pizza. The price was $35. I was pleasantly surprised with the crust, crispy cracker like and tasty. The toppings were okay but for a premium priced pizza, I can’t tell you that they were exceptionally tasty. They are proud of their Siriacha sauce at a cost of .99 cents (unsure of normal serving size, but they included 3 small containers). The sauce didn’t have much taste and zero heat level, I wouldn’t buy it again.

I am not sure why the app automatically adds over a $6.00 tip and this trend is not something I like. I ordered it, I picked it up and all the person did was take it from a shelf and handed it to me.

This is now my 3rd time ordering from this location and 10 out of 10 I've had a delicious pizza and great customer service. Hands down I think the Pho Shizzle is my new favorite pizza.

Today, I called in and made a special order, realized I used the incorrect card, remade the order and then reached out to let them know and they refunded me for the mistake order. Additionally, I didn't bother to check the pizza before leaving before I got home only to realize it was made incorrectly. Being someone who's worked in food, I didn't want to complain but the pizza was too spicy for my friend, so we reached out and they apologized and offered to made a pizza suited for my friend as a courtesy. Thank you so much for being so kind and understanding, and willing to work with us. I wish I remembered the person who helped me today, but they had a great attitude, smile, and vibe. I'll be seeing...

We ordered pizzas last 4th of July through online for pick up, we got there on the exact time of pick up and they said that it will take 4mins for the last pizza, so we waited since we know they got a lot of orders. When they called my name, they told me they gave us an extra pizza same as the one we ordered because the first one they made was a little questionable. So we got home, all the people who ate loved every single pizza and we were all saying what is the problem with the one they said questionable. We were impressed with the staff because they really do take seriously the quality of every pizza that comes out of the oven before serving it to the customers.
