We went for an anniversary celebration dinner with family. We all ordered steak. Steaks were a 9oz. Filet ( warm soft medium ), 6oz Renegade (cooked ok ), New York strip (medium), New York strip ( cooked medium but ordered as rare). Our sides were corn on the cob, lobster tail, side salads, loaded baked potatoes, and soup. We had crusted Parmesan spinach artichoke dip with fried pita triangles (good ). Service started off great. But dishes (appetizer plate, wine glasses, and dinner plates ), were left on the table even after we were done eating. We had to move dishes around on a table for six just to pay the bill ( $130.00 ). Our biggest problem was the second steak was not cooked to our liking, ( rare ). But the steak that was recooked was wrong as well. In addition it was supposed to be 12 oz. Steak and ended up being 7 oz. of steak and 4 oz of nothing but fat. I have a culinary degree and even though I have eatin in Michelin star restaurants, I still know that a NYS steak has marbling on the inside and very little to no fat on the outside. We will not be returning to longhorn again regardless of the location. If you like good steak think twice about where you go cause you might be deceived into thinking that it's steak and really it's just meat made to look like steak. I am reminded of the commercial slogan is it real or is it Memorex. Some might say that you can't compare a place like longhorn to a Michelin star restaurant. Well let me the first to say that you can when they specialized in a specific kind of cuisine. A place that specializes in Steak. You should be able to expect that they are proficient in how to cook the staple of what they serve. In addition they should be proficient in the select or...
Read moreTried them again. Glutton for punishment I thought . Turned out very well. Waitress did well and the food was delicious.
Hello there. My Wife and I have had bad experiences here. We love Longhorn compared to other chain restaurants. At this location something's changed. A lackluster approach to customer service seems to be the norm now. When we arrived to a 2/3 empty restaurant, we were told we would have to wait 10 min for a table. Seemed odd but OK. We were seated and waited 5-6 minutes to receive bread and give our drink order. No plates with the bread. After giving our meal order and seeing the waitress pass us by several times I finally asked if I could possibly get my drink. She replied "Did you order that?" LOL!" Yes". My wife's glass was dirty. We received our steaks realizing we were not going to get our appetizer. I said to my wife we shouldn't bring it up. I specifically asked for butter and cinnamon sugar on my sweet potato. Did not get it. The waitress seemed put off by having to work for a living. She would not give me the bill. She kept placing it in front of my wife. I hadn't complained about a single thing. We sat in in the section adjacent to the bar seating east row, second table from the hostess stand. I put that in this review expecting management to read this although I doubt they care enough to read reviews. I write reviews for great , good , and bad times. This was bad. I won't be back or recommend this place after three bad experiences. I thought our last two bad experiences were off nights. Now I see this is the culture here. Have a wonderful...
Read moreI haven't been here in years. Only because we live very far away. So happy we came here recently to celebrate mother's day! The decorations are very nice. Looks like the wealthier class comes here often either for business dinners or to bring family and friends. We had to wait about 30 minutes for a seat which is pretty fast compared to other steakhouses. Tables and seats are also fancier than the other steakhouses. Instead of rolls, they give you a small load of bread and some butter. Cut the loaf up and have about 6-8 prices depending on how thin or thick you cut it which ours was thick. The bread is very warm and easy to chew with the butter melting on top. Our dinner included the New York steak with a baked potato and side of veggies, another New York steak with a regular salad and side of fries, and a kids cheeseburger with a side of fries. Our drinks include sweet tea, strawberry lemonade, and I believe a raspberry tea. Our food was so yummy ! Although I do believe our steaks got mixed up. I had to send mine back to get it cooked some more. The staff was super friendly and understanding. Their service was very speedy too! The only downside for me was the music was a little too loud. I wasn't able to talk to my mom across the table much. After this experience, I would definitely recommend this restaurant to family...
