I'm sorry but this place I have gotten uber eats orders from here several times with this establishment and I will say this the only redeeming factor of this place was their hostess that is trying to deal with everyone at the door. Picking up my uber orders here is really hard to do, lack of proper parking for starters and they aren't very well lit in their parking lot at night, the road to their location is troublesome to say the least. When picking up my orders for customers I have noticed things are missing and I often have to call the customer on their behalf to figure out a solution for missing items or to cancel an order due to being out of the item they ordered. Uber is on it with the customer as well as dealing with this restaurant. I honestly wish Uber would stop orders with this location in particular due to the lack of respect for what the customer orders and how cold it is when we pick it up. I don't believe the orders are put in warmers and I have always heard a complaint from one of the servers about uber drivers that pull up to the mobile order spots (that is what your business said to do on the business notes for us to do and then proceed to walk inside.) And then looked at me with a rude glare. I honestly work as a chef and do uber on the side and I have 15 years of high end Italian food cooking under my belt and I really feel their food is underwhelming. I have had one of their salads as I ordered something as the hostess who offered me to have something while I waited 35 minutes for an order that should've only taken the bare minimum of 15 minutes. I ordered a Cobb salad and the lettuce was super soggy and unedible. I paid for this as I was really hungry and had been ubering for about 9 hours that Saturday and i threw it out and just didn't even bother for a refund or something else as that's just poor quality control. I highly suggest you check your produce as it was very poor and the only thing I like about this place was the hostess at the counter as you enter was very upbeat, friendly, apologetic, kept a conversation between waiting uber drivers, doordashers, and regular customers. She didn't have a name tag but she was honestly a...
Read moreI just had the most perfectly cooked STEAK at this restaurant that’s renowned for its exquisite, deep dish PIZZA! (And believe me, it was an agonizing decision to try the steak when I know how delicious the pizza is!) I prefer medium rare, but steak houses never get it right, so I ordered it cooked medium. It was cooked to perfection, the flavor was delicious, the garlic mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables a perfect compliment. The grilled shrimp was heavenly too. I didn’t want to swallow! I don’t know who put the A1 sauce on the table, but it was an insult to the cook and the steak! I will order medium rare the next time as long as I verify the same cook is in the kitchen! Hats off to the chef! Thank you!
Note: I started coming here for the mouth watering shrimp and crab dip served with buttered, toasted crisps, but have discovered so much more. I suggest bringing a group and ordering several dishes to sample them all.
2nd Note: I ordered a Long Island Iced Tea because I love them, but decided to order something off of the half price menu for a follow up. I asked Rene to decide what would be similar. She suggested an Arnold Palmer with a shot of Tito’s vodka. I had no idea what an Arnold Palmer was, so she explained it. It was better than the Long Island! A waitress at a foo-foo Italian restaurant was unable to pair a wine with a dish I ordered, (not to mention the food was so poorly seasoned at the Italian restaurant that I left it on the table uneaten) but Rene and Uno’s chef delivered above and beyond expectation.
3rd Note?: Also, if you love clam chowder, don’t miss the house made chowder on the unlimited soup and salad specials! The last time I was here, I ate so much chowder that I took my meal home!
One more thing. If you love brick walls with a hand-painted motif on one, along with a heavy wood bar and booths and mix of industrial and stained glass hanging lamps, sit in the bar. You’ll want...
Read moreOur server was definitely not happy to be at work. I understand rough days but we had a toddler and a baby with us and she forgot to put in the kids order:/. We had to get up to request several items and the staff that helped us with those were extremely nice and helpful. I was not a fan of the pizza at all . It came out hot but the moment it was put on the plate the cheese was ice cold. I only took two bites of mine and couldn't finish eating. The two little had to wait about 15 minutes after the pizza came out to get their food and cool it down so there was a lot of screaming going on from them. There were also no condiments brought out for the food so we had to ask for those. The server came over and let me know she was transferring the bill to another server. When the bill came out it was wrong. I was a little shocked that two sodas, a small pizza, cheesey bread, and a kids chicken tenders meal was $55 and some change. I paid with cash and the server brought me 2 $20s and 4 $1s then promptly took one of the $20s and said they didn't give you enough change for a tip. I was a little shocked by as well. I have been a server for 23 years and would never do that to a customer. I also don't keep their change and give them their full amount back. We definitely will not be back not bc of the service but bc the pricing...
