For "locals" (those born & raised here or who have resided here for 20+ years) this is a mere "gathering place" for OVERLY PRICED coffee & STALE bagels left out overnight in their basket shelf behind the counter that they just use their hands to grab, with no sanitation hand covers and handwashing sink in sight EVER being used!
If you're an "outsider" (not from Jackson or Wyoming, save yourself the snooty looks and attitudes that'll be hurled at you and go to Starbucks because in comparison, the prices, DEFINITELY the food, & most CERTAINLY the customer service you'll receive there, rather than here, will be superseded by a thousand!
Lastly, make SURE you never try to display any type of Southern Comfort (i.e. saying "Goodmorning, beautiful", using Southern terms such as "Thanks, hun") or you'll be told you're making the ALL FEMALE FRONT STAFF "feel uncomfortable" & asked NOT TO COME BACK (only after a ONE TIME event)! So like I said, unless you just LIKE paying $7.00 for a stale bagel, where unsanitary measures are in place (which I'm sure will change once they see this), & where you're treated unwelcome because you have different customs and courtesies, I'd save my money and hit Starbucks right on the corner of the main town square across from the...
Read moreWe were told to try this place for the food. Yeah don't try it for the coffee. The bagels are pre-made off-site or at least that's what we were told just being honest I've had better bagels from gas stations. The bagel was incredibly hard The cheese had already turned different colors like a really really dark orange and was stuck to the wrapping. I ordered and paid for four bagels and two coffees one being a cappuccino and one being a mocha. We didn't get the cappuccino we got an espresso instead which. My wife didn't want to wait in line again to get the cappuccino so she drank the espresso. We were missing a bacon egg and cheese bagel and didn't realize it until we got a mile or so down the road. I will say the line was really long so it must be popular and I will say the mocha was good and I would have gone back and gotten coffee there again but I will never ever eat there again. It was quite possibly the worst bagel I've ever eaten. This is just my opinion and I understand some people like it it's just not for...
Read more5 years ago my wife and I ate at a bagel shop that we thought was ate the very same location and we loved it. We had the best ham, egg and cheese bagels and toasted everything bagels with cream cheese that we ever had. Sadly, I have been back twice since then and this place that is there now is soo disappointing. No sandwiches any more and no toasting of bagels. Really?!? I guess as a culture we are really programmed to eat bagels for breakfast because I can't figure out why they are so busy each time I have returned. What is even worse is I went in when the temp was in the 30's and asked for a toasted bagel and boy was I treated like a moron. Never again, the ironic part was our last hotel served their bagels- but the hotel even knew enough to...
