Hatch Taqueria and Tequila, located in the heart of Jackson Hole, right at the doorstep of Grand Teton National Park, offers a fantastic Mexican dining experience. Ambience: The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, blending a modern feel with a touch of rustic charm. It’s the perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring the stunning outdoors, with a warm and lively energy that enhances the dining experience. Parking: Street parking is available, which is convenient given its central location. Depending on the time of day, you may need to hunt for a spot, but it’s generally manageable. Drinks: The drinks are definitely a highlight! I tried the Huckleberry Margarita, Spice Hatch, and the Mango Margarita. All of them were exceptional, perfectly balanced with refreshing flavors and just the right amount of kick. I highly recommend sampling their margarita selection. Food: Mesquite Grilled Salmon (5/5): Absolutely delicious! The salmon was grilled to perfection, with a smoky flavor from the mesquite wood that really set it apart. A must-try for seafood lovers. Three Cheese Chile Relleno with Chicken Tinga (4/5): This dish was hearty and flavorful, with the cheese and tinga chicken complementing each other well. It was satisfying, though I felt it could have used just a little more seasoning to bring out the full depth of flavors. Overall, Hatch is a great spot for both locals and visitors alike, offering tasty food, amazing drinks, and a laid-back atmosphere. Whether you’re coming off a hike in the Tetons or simply looking for a great night out in Jackson, it’s worth a visit.

Just when I almost forgot about this restaurant, they had to send a reminder. We visited this place last week. I won’t say much about them dumping food onto our gears and just wiped briefly. I cleaned-up myself. I won’t say much about their almost tasteless fajita either because I was just too hungry to complain. But shortly after I started eating, I can’t stop noticing some non-food item in my mouth. Yeah, you can see it too in the picture, a piece of metal wire probably from their wire scrubber. What’s worse was their response, they made it sound like it’s nothing. They felt that I was wrong by returning the dish back to them. Well, I was too busy with the rest of my trip to put up a review even though everyone was asking me to do so, until I found this: they altered the credit card receipt and gave them more tips. While, I happened to have a picture of the original. I figure that I can’t hold back anymore since the restaurant is so persistent in forcing me to talk about my visit. Here you go, enjoy

This is a particular place to have Tacos. There are some different version of tacos and healthy food options, the ones that ee ordered were tacos al pastor and cochinita pibil. I would say they were good enough. I feel like the pork of cochinita pibil needs more spices and probably more marination time. The tacos al pastor were just okay, I was not expecting to see the turning trompo where they cut the meet from. I missed a good salsa, because the one they offered for the tacos looked and tasted like the sauce you get in other restaurants for your chips appetizers, after all we enjoyed. Unfortunately we got sick after because (we believe) it was the tortilla soup that made our stomaches upset, we think so because the soup when we started eating it at the same time, we immediately noticed that it tasted very sour, more than it should, but since we were hungry, we didn't take much importance, but once we left the place, we started to feel a stomach discomfort and the rest is.. you know.

It was a Wednesday night and there were two large groups waiting to be seated for their reservation. I was dining solo on this particular occasion. The restaurant was clearly understaffed and both large groups were gathering in the way of the bar and entrance. Patrons such as myself could have been seated, ordered and half finished with their meal before the hostess managed to gather what she was doing and seat the reserved groups. Once they were finally seated myself and another solo patron were still waiting with plenty of open space at the bar. The hostess asked me if my group was two. I said "just one." She left, walked around the restaurant and came back. She looked at both of us and asked "two?" I said "just one please." She then pointed at the bar and told me to have a seat there. She brought two menus and sat them on top of each other as if seating two people. This made it very awkward for both myself and the other gentleman waiting. He took it upon himself to grab a menu and specifically tell the hostess he was sitting somewhere else. Miss oblivious still didn't get it. The bar tender was great and very attentive. The food was mediocre for the pricing. One drink, an order of queso and three small soft shell tacos came to $31 dollars. I won't be revisiting or telling people about Hatch. It simply...

My girlfriend and I love to visit JH often. We have never been to this restaurant before and decided to check it out for some tacos. I had a drink and we ordered the elote corn, carne asada tacos and the al pastor tacos. You get three mediocre tacos for $15-$18. My girlfriend had one bite of her al pastor tacos and it was too spicy for her to handle. On the menu it says that the al pastor tacos have red pepper sauce on them so she assumed it wouldn't be that spicy. The server comes over and my girlfriend tells him that she can't eat the tacos because they are too spicy and he says "Oh, must have been the habanero sauce". It didn't say habanero on the menu. Long story short, the server takes away the spicy tacos and comes back with the check. My girlfriend looks at the bill and the tacos she didn't eat were still on the bill. She calls the server over and asks him to remove the tacos that she didn't eat. The server says that he is going to ask the manager. He comes back and says that manager gave us 15% off the bill instead of removing the tacos that were $17.

Horrible customer service. Especially charging for something that someone couldn't eat. Would never recommend this place to anyone. Bad customer service with subpar tacos, you can make better...
