Read moreFirst and foremost our server Shayla was AMAZING. Super friendly super kind and fun! That is the only part that made this experience any kind of enjoyable. The dip cups were half full. The kids quesadilla was burnt… I had to remind the food runner about the kids drinks 30 minutes into our dine. (Server was the only one in the floor and should had had a drink runner)
Now the burger. I told her what toppings I wanted. I get this massive burger! Beautiful. Better than the appetizer for sure. But the toppings were wrong and I had to send it back for adjustment. After like 15 more minutes it’s back and falling apart, the bun is split on the bottom and the burger (I guess they washed the mustard and ketchup off and threw it back on the burner cause it was, now, burnt and crumbling) I took a couple bites and just couldn’t manage. It was awful….
It’s like they ruined it so you’re scared to send it back next time. Mind you we ALMOST went to BJs but chose them instead. Never again, because every single time I come it’s like they can’t just make one dinner without screwing it up.
Again, the server was amazing. But it’s like the kitchen just does whatever they want, the expensive family just trying to eat together. My boyfriend tried to wait for me, he wanted us all to eat together, and I sat there with no food in front of me. When I finally got it, i couldn’t eat it. Tasters sour and bland for a burger.
This isn’t a server problem it’s a kitchen problem. I have 17 years experience in restaurants and I can’t believe they are still open. My family rarely goes out.
We go out as a reward for our hard work. He is a tradesman and I’m a healthcare worker and a student, this is not often for us. When we go out to eat we do it to decompress and spend time without the stress. All to sit and wait and get our food mixed up. If our meal is gonna cost that much, we should have a good time. Not stress. I’m going home hungry because they closed, the bar refused to send out our second drink even though i had not even eaten yet, they are in a hurry to leave and could care less if you’re happy. There goes our MONTHLY dinner wasted on poor...
Read moreI used to really like chili's but have become increasingly more disappointed over the past few visits. Last night was really frustrating. The place was busy, so the 20-30 minute wait was reasonable, no complaints there. What I will complain about is that once we were seated, it took our waitress about 20 minutes to come to the table. At that time, we ordered drinks, an appetizer, and our entrees. Keep in mind it was just my boyfriend and I, not a large group. It took about 15 minutes to order since she kept getting confused and reciting incorrect things to us. Most likely because SHE HAD HER HEADPHONES IN the entire time we were there. I know she was listening to music since I kept seeing her changing songs throughout the night on her phone rather than attending to us. It took about 40 minutes for the entrees to come, served to us by a different waitress, AND the appetizer had not even come yet. The second waitress brought it straight out to us. I had to flag down our waitress to get a drink refill since she never came to check on us. The food was really disappointing. My "sliders" were small patties that were burnt and crispy that were shoved on a regular sized hamburger bun that was cut in half. My cheddar bites were over fried and hard. And the boneless wings barely had any sauce on them. After waiting a while for the waitress to finally pay attention to us again, we asked for to-go boxes and the check. She brought boxes and cleared our table. About 30 minutes went by, and our waitress was basically hiding in the kitchen. Finally, a third waitress came to ask if we needed help since we were visibly annoyed, and she ran out our check immediately.
We shouldn't have to ask 2 other waitresses for help since ours can't be bothered to show any interest in serving us. We waited so long I was considering leaving without paying, but I'm not that kind of person. I don't think she deserved a tip either, but my boyfriend was nice enough to leave some.
This place has been going downhill the past few times I've been here, and if they continue on this trend, I don't think I'll be back anymore. Very...
