OH MY LORD why does everything have to be so spicy / hot???!!!! I ordered the following items via DoorDash - Pav Bhaji Butter Chicken Cheese Samosa Pav
There was no option on the menu to select spice level and no place to add any comments. And what I got was literally inedible and I ended up throwing out everything.
Every item was way too spicy / hot. I tried the butter chicken first - It tasted NOTHING like Butter Chicken firstly, and it was so spicy that I thought I would pass out after 2 bites. Also, the dish quantity was very little and half of it was just the oil!!!
I kept that aside and thought the Pav Bhaji may be better but it really wasn’t. Same issue - way too spicy and inedible for someone with my spice tolerance.
The Cheese in the Samosa Pav was also not enough to reduce the spice level of this dish.
If you want to make everything so high in spice level, then it would be best to advertise it upfront so people are cautioned at the time of ordering. I wasted $40 worth of food because it was inedible. Will not be ordering...

ORIGINAL: I wanted to like this place after living in the neighborhood for a while. Unfortunately, the operation is run very poorly.

I was told the order was ready for pickup but showed up and had to wait 20 mins. The order received did not match so I asked why and I was told the entree I ordered comes with rice and not roti. So, they are misleading on their online menu. Not worth the price in my opinion. Maybe I’ll give it another chance, but it’s hard to respect a place that plays bait and switch and makes you wait after telling you it’s ready for pickup. The flavor profile of the food...
Read moreI recently dined at Bombay Vada House and had an incredible experience! We started off with the samosa chaat and fried fish as appetizers, and I can’t say enough about how flavorful they were. The combination of sauces and the amazing masala powder really elevated the dishes—each bite was a burst of flavor!
For the entrees, we went for the achari chicken kaathi rolls, chicken 65, fried rice, dal, and fresh roti. Everything was served piping hot and tasted fantastic. The kaathi rolls were especially delicious, perfectly spiced and wrapped. The chicken 65 was crispy and packed with flavor, making it a standout.
The service was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall enjoyable atmosphere. If you’re in the mood for some authentic and delicious Indian food, I highly recommend checking out Bombay Vada House. You won’t be...
