If you haven’t been here yet do yourself a favor and go ASAP. I have been here 2 times in less than a week. The food is so delicious! you can taste how fresh it is and the quality of ingredients. I’m literally trying to find ways to convince my wife on going for dinner tonight but she’s saying no because we went yesterday. I tried both the platter and Gyro. Both are absolutely insane. The portion size is great too. I left stuffed!
The Lamb & beef has the perfect bite. The chicken makes you never want to stop eating. The tzatziki. Oh my god the tzatziki. I would eat it from a bowl with a spoon if they sold it that way. Can’t forget about the pita and those Greek fries. My mouth is literally watering.
Every single employee is so nice and respectful. They have a passion about the food and service. It shows from the moment you walk in. You’re greeted with a smile.
If you don’t like Greek food than shame on you. If you like desserts you must… MUST get the the almond cake. So freaking moist. Not overly sweet. Words cannot explain.
I love this spot. It is such a great addition to Newport. I highly recommend giving them a try. You will not regret it. The vibe is comfy/cozy. The people are nice. The food is delicious. What more could you ask for. Do yourself a favor and go try...

Had the chicken gyro. It is a basic gyro you might find at a food truck. They put fries inside the gyro, but the fries were obviously old because they were soggy.
The prices here are ridiculous. At $14++ for a basic gyro, you are rapidly approaching sit-down fancy brunch restaurant levels.
There are no meals, everything being alacarte. It is a rip-off for a tiny can of soda, which comes to around $3.29++
They are running a scam where there is a 3% "credit card fee" that is mentioned absolutely nowhere. Shameful that they have to resort to these dishonest tactics, when their prices are already so high.
The building advertises the restaurant, but be warned. They refuse to validate parking. So in addition to hidden tax, "credit card fee", tack on another $4 for parking. In fact, the gentleman at the counter thought he would try to be funny when I asked whether they validate parking to make it out like whether he would personally validate the parking. You absolutely understood what I meant, no need to get cocky about it.
The table we sat at was dirty and we had to get the guy to come and clean it. When he left, it still wasn't clean.
Toilet was filthy and had...
Read moreLet me start this off by saying that Efi’s gyro is quite literally one of the most AUTHENTIC gyro restaurants around. I have eaten gyros in Greece thousands of times on vacations and this literally hits home.
So flavorful, delicious, and tasty. I ended up eating two gyros both chicken and pork. My partner got chicken and she loved it. It is so delicious and worth every penny. You MUST try Efi’s. Take this from someone who’s eaten gyros in Greece for over 15 years that you will NOT be disappointed.
This isn’t your average gyro you get off the street or other Greek restaurants. This is the real deal. This is something you ONLY find in Greece.
That’s how amazing this location is. The restaurant is very clean inside and out. They also have outdoor seating. Efi’s also has amazing Greek coffee that you can experience here like home in Greece.
This is a must try, I will be coming here a lot more often. If gyros aren’t your thing you can try their platter.
